see the problem is im one of those guys who got my banshee and has no idea anything about them..............yet im learning pretty quick thanks to this site and the absolute gear heads on here i traded my 1990 suzuki katana for this quad i just put front brakes on it and rear suspention and as im sure you read a blown head gasket................by the by anyone know what the torque specs. are for the head bolts........ damn i need a manual!

anyone???? maybe just new gasket and put it together?

well i told yall about the head bolts falling off. well when i pulled the head i found water ontop of the piston and the head gasket is blown. any sugestions?

please just what kind of oil do i need to buy at the auto parts store when i go in the morning im gonna get it back running first thing in the morn. just what ever you change your oil with. im not looking for what is best just what i need to put in it to drive. and thank you for your time

ok thanx next problem do yall know where i can find replacement bolts?? or the o rings and stuff like that the nearest yamaha dealer is like 50 miles or so. and if there is something in the cylinders how do i clean it up? im definatly feeling a little better about the situation thank you.

well i went on a ride today and while doing about 70 i got coolent spray and steam everywhere so i shut the motor off and coasted to a stop. after waving my hands on the side of the road franticly for about 20 min i finall got some one to take me and the shee home (which was about 7 miles from where i am.) After i got it home i started searching for the problem which turns out to be i lost 2 head bolts on the right side so the water is spraying. my question is what else to i need to replace besides the lost bolts? could this have messed up anything else????????? any help is greatly appreciated!

do you think that will work with it being 6+ over stock?

ok ok i know im dumb for not knowing but i need to know how to run my stock shock on the rear of my bike. i got the bike with no rear suspension and i want to put it on all i have is the shock it self what am i missing.... and also it is a +6 over swing arm please someone guide me in the right direction or if u have the parts i have the money! :ermm:

I dident see a vin on the frame but there is a # on the engine is this the # i need?
