  1. I need to be able to ride through puddles that come up to the foot pegs and not have to worry about getting stranded until it dries out, I am not looking to turn it into a submarine. Thanks for the reply
  2. this is definitely electrical. Is there a way to waterproof the stator and coil.
  3. I tried doing a search for this but nothing came up that I was looking for. I was out riding and hit a puddle and my shee shut down until it dried out. What do I have to do to keep it from crapping out on me every time it gets wet?
  4. Any after market stuff would be helpful too. I am new to Canada and don't know any companies here.
  5. It's a little late I got it for 1800. I haven't been here for a couple of days. here in Alberta everything is expensive. you can't touch anything here that is in halfway decent shape for under 5k for most quads
  6. It is not stock I was told that it has been punched out but he doesn't know any specs, he bought it from the person who had the work done.
  7. I took this Banshee for a ride yesterday and I was hoping to be impressed by the power and speed, I walked away unimpressed. This Banshee I believe has carb issues because when you start out from a dead stop you have to feather the shit out of the throttle to keep it from stalling also one exhaust seems to put out more smoke and more pressure than the other side under gentle acceleration could the carbs be out of sync? The person selling it told me he had it to the shop a couple of months ago and the mech tuned one carb differently (lower idle) from the other one. Once you accelerate into the power band area it seems fine but unimpressive for what I thought a Banshee should be. Anyhow the guy wants 2k for it should I walk away or if it is not a deal breaker get the carbs in syc and see what happens? I am a mechanic with 11 years exp in construction equipment and medium sized trucks with shit for exp on 2 strokes but I am sure it wouldn't be a problem to learn them. Any and all advice welcome.
