  2. yeah i doubt it is, i will have to look into doing that though. not sure how to take the case apart or what seals and gaskets will need to be replaced when crank is taken out. i got that cylmer manual so i will be doing some reading. thanks on that info ok cool. yeah jeff is a great guy def. get my business, hes got great customer service, has taken my calls when he was walking out the door to close up and even before he stared his days. thanks alot for your guy's input..
  3. ok cool, thanks guys. yeah im just cleaning up the cylinders and off they go to Jeff. just wanted to get input before i did anything.
  4. i should have just to be a wise ass,lol yeah i didnt think going with the porting would be cheap like his view of it.
  5. ok i just ordered my parts from Jeff at F.A.S.T, i got .060 over pistons 33mm keinen pwk carbs, billet intakes, i already have pyramid reeds, reed spacers, and cool head. i was talking to a friend of a friend that says he knows everything about banshees and he said what im trying to do is a cheap way of building my motor bc i want to port and put the .060 over pistons in my cylinders. he said i should just go with the cheetah cub kit, which i cant really afford right now. so what i am asking of you guys is you think i should save up for the cubs or just go with the porting and bore/hone on the stock cylinders. sorry if im all over the place with my info, oh and it will be pretty much dunes riding and have toomey t-5's on the way. thanks for your input

  11. idk i was just thinking if im going bigger i would make more power, wasnt really thinking of getting longer life out of them, but now ill put that into consideration.. thanks
  12. ok cool, yeah hes said that they will work for my setup or even if it was stock. im just getting all my parts from F.A.S.T bc there prices seem reasonable and are sponsored on this site, i just wanted to get others input on it bc the guy thats doing my port work just suggested only a couple mm over stock but never said anything about going bigger. but thanks for your input im prob just gunna order the 33's from Jeff.
  13. hey whats up guys, yes im a newbie to the site and owning a banshee. i got a couple questions maybe you can help me out. i have a 94 banshee its got a cool head, pyramid reeds and spacers, the motor is already bored 0.50 over and im putting 0.80 sized pistons in it and getting the cylinders ported while its apart. what i was wondering is what size carbs to go with, some guy said to go with a couple mm's over stock which i think stock is 22mm so im looking at maybe a 28mm carbs but the guys at F.A.S.T Racing said i would be good with the 33 KEIHIN PWK carbs, i dont know if those would be too big. so i would like to get your guy's input on carb sizes to go with for my setup. thanks
