  1. If you read the instructions it says to hook up the blue wire for a battery under 4ah and do not use it for a battery that's over 4ah. I just need to know if I keep all the stock ground wires the same and just run the regulator/rectifier ground to the battery and for the the lights do I ground them to the battery or to the stock ground? I'm going to be installing the trail tech SCMR16.
  2. One more question on the conversion. One my trail tech regulator/rectifier it says not to ground to chassis. So do I just run the ground wire from the new regulator/rectifier straight to the battery? And when I removed my stock regulator it had a ground wire that was under the mounting bolt do I keep it there or run it to the battery as well? Or do I just ground the battery right off the terminal to the chassis? Thanks for the help.
  3. Sorry bud I all ready ordered the battery before I saw your post. Thanks for the help guys. If I wanted to run two of these batteries how would I wire them up?
  4. Any one know the amp hour rating on this battery? Clicky
  5. Here you go. http://www.trailtech.net/media/instruction...nstructions.pdf
  6. Thanks for the link. What about the extra output wire for the lights? Ricky Stators don't have this extra light output.
  7. How do you float the ground on one of these stators?
  8. I have had my degree key in since 2001 and have had no problems with it. I'm getting ready to install HID lights on my bike when I do I think I'm gonna pull it out and put the stock one back in. And go with the timing plate.
  9. Sweet thats what I wanted to hear. Couple more questions if you don't mind. What battery would be best for the stock stator? (I don't need a stator so price don't matter. I plan on running the Trail Tech SC4 HID 40 watt lights. Is this ok with stock stator or should I run the SC4 HID 30 watt ones? Thanks Mike
  10. Yea I know all that. I need to know if the stock stator is able to do what it needs to do after the ground wire is floated. I just read allot of bad things about the 200watt ricky stator. Is any one running a hid set up with the ricky stator stator with no problems? Thanks Mike
  11. Hi all new to the forum and found lots of great info. I'm looking to install Trailtechs 4" Hid lights do I need a 200 watt stator to do this right or can I use the stock one. I have read a bunch of bad things about the ricky stator on this board. What r you guys using to power your hids. Any info would be great. Any one have pics of the kragen 7" HID lights installed on there shee? Thanks Mike
