  3. ok so i put in the tommey needles on the 3rd clip and the 280 main jets. the bike is almost bogging at the end of 1st and 2nd gear. im still using stock pilots with a k&n airfilter with no lid. i ordered 27.5 pilots and 290 mains. what would u guys recommend for me? Also how accurate is the banshee jetting calculator because it says maybe i should be around the 300-320 range because of the k&n 2to1 airfilter.

  7. hey guys i feel like a pain in the ass but im kinda lost right now can someone please help i just installed my t5s, vforce 3 reeds, and tors removal i purchased the tommey perfect jetting kit also i live in ontario canada at 950-1000ft i decided to go with the 280 main jet that came with the kit and installed the clip on the 4th spot on the tommey needle like it recommended it was my first time doing a plug chop but the plugs didnt look to bad i thought i was really close but when i start off in first and pin it (WOT) it seems ok but hesitate to hit the powerband kinda bogging/sluggish weirdishh sound so i played around with the air screw and still the same so i decided to move the clip from the 4th position to the 3rd on the needle and play with the air screws but still the same i was having issues with the exhaust/silencer clamps but they seem to be fine now and i dont think i was leaking enough exhaust to really effect it in the first place but now that im on the 3rd spot on the needle my banshee seems to run/ idle better with the choke on im not an expert on banshees or carb tuning but i been trying to learn how my bike runs and tune it properly when i talked to jeff from fast he said that the 280 main jet would be really close to what i needed since me and jeff are almost at the same sea level what would u guys do??
  8. hey guys ive had these headlights on my 2005 banshee for like 1 yr now and i had to cut into the old headlight wire to install these new ones and they only work when i set my headlights to the brightest/high beams but the problem im having is that when i turn my high beams on when my new headlights are working my rear braking light is lit but like half ass and when i push the rear brake it doesnt go brighter ok and also when i switch my lights to the first setting my rear brake light works np but my headlights dont work this isnt a big deal for me when im riding during the day cuz i dont really use my headlights much but i like the look of them but when i ride at night like i was tonight my buddy behind me cant see me brake which really sucks does anyone know a way to fix this when i bought the lights they said they would work on a stock setup but im thinking my banshee doesnt make enough power to light up the rear brake light and the headlights at the same time because my rear brake light works no problem when my headlights arent on http://s1147.photobucket.com/albums/o544/icealmeida/?action=view&current=b64184f1.jpg http://s1147.photobucket.com/albums/o544/icealmeida/?action=view&current=2cefc8a1.jpg

  11. hey guys a couple months back i bought a pair of t5s off buddy here and i didn't get the silicone rubber seals for the exhaust headers to the silencers so i used the stock ones but they kinda sucked and the clamp went right through it so i needa replace them asap where can i get those any recommendations???

  13. hey guys i got a quick question i got a stock 2005 banshee stock bore and im just putting on my t5 pipes and vforce 3 reeds i installed the 280 main jet cuz im at 950 feet above sea level and i put the needle jet on the 3rd groove but the jetting instruction for the t5s say to put the needle on the 4th groove but im adding the vforce 3 reeds at the same time as the t5 pipes wat would u guys do listen to the t5 perfect jetting instruction and run it on the 4th groove or set it on the 3rd groove any tips would be grateful god bless
  14. hey guys im gonna be putting on my t5 pipes and vforce 3 reeds this week i got the tommey perfect jet kit and im gonna try the 280 mains and needle clip in the 3rd position i understand that the t5s can use the stock pilot jet but i was wondering if its a better idea to use the 27.5 pilot will there be a difference in performance or just in carb tuning also im in ontario canada at 950 - 1000ft above sea level i plan to use no air box lid and i have a k&n air filter what would u guys recommend
  15. ya running with no lid 280 would be perfect for me but if i add the vforce 3 reeds will i go up a main jet size or just up a step on the needles in the middle or 3rd clip ? thx alot guys
  16. hey guys i got a complete stock motor i wanna put on my t5s and vforce 3 reeds for my first real upgrade i plan to shave my stock head 25 thousandths and put my timing to +4 the perfect jet kit comes with 270 and 280 jets im at about 1000ft above sea level i wanna put on my vforce 3 reeds the same time i install my t5s but the question is can someone tell me where they think my setting should be and since im adding the vforce 3 reeds should i mayb up the jets to 290 if i was gonna use the 280 with stock reeds? i appreciate everyones help god bless
  17. hey guys i have a complete yfz450 front suspension, front shocks, a arms a arm spacers, and hubs the reason im selling is cuz it is too wide for the trails we have around here and i dont like how low i sit on them, the spacers i got manufactured at my dads work outta high grade titanium for aircrafts here is a pic of the front end on my 2005 pm me some offers or i would be willing to trade the whole setup for some decent shocks that will fit on my stock a arms

  21. hey guys i went riding today and we were riding pretty hard to get to the trails and when we got there we came to a stop and i noticed plastic burning and this wire was dangling on to my pipe im not sure what it is i looked up a banshee wiring harness and it looks like its was the throttle switch from buddies post here http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=133650 but i just removed my tors unit right now and i thought the throttle switch went from the thumb throttle to the wire harness cuz i just removed that switch in the thumb throttle and it didnt hook up to the wire that i smelt burning anyways can someone help me this is worrying me lol thanks alot guys 2 Stroke Power cheer from canada
