So I got me a manual, and read up on how to check conectivity on the stator, switch and coil. Got a cheap ohm meter, got mad at it, and got the digital one. But they both came up reading as "open" when I did the check on my stator, kill switch, and coil.
The clymers manual reads that the stator should read around 0.26-0.34, with the meter set at at R 1k. Problem is I don't see a "R" setting and I tried all the setting on the ohm side with simaliar results. I went back to the good ol fashion wire test light, and got it to light up when I kicked her over, but no spark through the coil. I aint no electrician, so any help would be awesome!!
I just added:
Adjustable timing plate with stator
stage 2 rev box from dragonfly ent.
wiring harness from an 02 with e-brake, tors removed
new ign. switch
The flywheel is good and magnetized, gap on pickup coil is set, timing at 0.
