its not running the best on idle actually it wont idle... and i wont be able to do a plug chop until a couple of weeks.. so i really need a rough idea wre im at thanks

1st thanks for looking at this post ok guys i will make it short mods- t-5 pipes pro design foam air filter.. no snorkel using lid with toomey air vents in lid and box elevation- 2050 feet temp- betweeb 68 - 86 fuel ratio - 32:1 im currently running 280 mains, stock pilots (i ordered bigger pilots 27.5 & 30) also with the needles that came with the toomey kit and the clip on the #3 groove i would like to also find out how many turns out of the air screws if they were all the way in? are mains too big or small? leave stock pilots? fuel ratio? etc please reply and thanks any feed back will be great much appriecated guys jack

yes i still have the lid with the vents in it and no snorkle... the box also has vents in it im running it with the 280 main but stock pilot..

First i just wanna say thanks for even looking at this post for there are a thousand great posts on jetting that i could have used.. i have been stressing for a couple of days now, and i just found the elevation of where i ride (that google earth is good for U.S not for AUS) which it is roughly 625m - 2050 feet... the degrees would be between 20 - 30 degrees celcius or 68 - 86 degrees fahrenheit.. the mods on my bike are: - pro design foam air filter - t-5 pipes with air box vents ( dont know if they make a diff.) my clip on the needle jet is on the 3rd groove... i havent touched my air fuel mixture screw... i havent touched my pilot jet (dont really know what it is or where to find it ) .. i also used the needle's that came with the toomey kit should i use the stock ones??? please help me coz i wanna learn myself and would like to understand it as well i appreciate any feedback... thanks again guys stressed jack..

hahaha i knew that.. im around 900-1300 feet above sea level... i put the clip on the needle 1 groove up it doesnt blow smoke like before but do i need to adjust the idle srew if its not blowing enough smoke?

is the elevation the clip on the needle? it is on the 4th groove down from the grooved end.. the only other mod is a pro design foam air filter and toomey vents on the air box. and boost bottle. and both cylinders blow same amount of smoke.. thanks can u tell me wat i should do

my tran oil level is good( i will double check it tomorrow), and if i put my hands on any silencer it spits out oil ... and wen the bikes off i clean the silencers from the oil.. if my level is good is there another way to check that it could be my crank seal?

hey guys, i just fitted my t-5s and jetted my bike following the toomeys instruction book that came with the pipes... my stock pipes had heaps of oil in it as some of it spilled when uninstalling, now it still spits oil outa the sliencers and blows heaps of smoke.... does this mean i have to put the clip on the needle 1 groove higher? .... do something else to the carbs? orr did i miss doing somthing?.. i also mixed my fuel with 340ml of motul 800 with 10L of fuel is this ok? i took it for a quick wrap in my street and i think it runs fine once i have been through all the gears at leased once it splaters in the first couplee of gears and wont hit band... is this from the main jet (too big?) i used the jet that came with the pipe kit (280) should i go lower in size? please help starting to stress a little anything would be great and i appreciate it heapss thanks guys

Hey people. my mate just re bulid his engine and it started first kick.. after a couple of days it would start until we towed it behind a car and clutched it.. we went riding that weekend and ran it in and was fine for the two days.. when we arrived home and it wouldnt kick over again.. any HELP will be good. thanks
