  4. hey guys.. ok some people have sorta already answered this for me, but being 'mr. wanna know every thing bout a shee' aint satisfied i wanna buy a noss head and wanna know it back to front but not sure wat compression domes i need. i have a stock engine with vf3 reeds (not installed waitin on ebay) , t-5s and pro design foam filter.. i will be doing a compression test as ssoon as i get my hands on one.. how do i know what size cc domes i need? plz explain with my engine stock should i be lookin to be around 130 psi comp.? will i need to rejet? is adding octane boost in fuel bad? thats all i can think of for now.. but it aint the end of me  thanks for ur knowledge
  5. so say it comes out 130. i will need the cc domes that will also produce 130 comp.? and also i have thought the higher the octane the better how would destroy the engine?, another thing i know how every 1 advances their timing what actually changes (ignition timing?) doesnt it also damage ur bike? hahaha i just wanna know every thing about banshee's . . . detonation i might have a ruff idea on that as well .. thats all i can think for now thanks for the generous reply
  6. ok cool.. off the topic i have a lil bit of knowlege on compression.. e.g too much compression without the correct mods will fuk ur motor etc.. but how would u know were u should be (me) and to test it (i know i need a comp. tester but dont know which 1 to buy) and dont know how 2 use it.. im looking to buy a noss head.

  15. cool i will be definetly buy the vf3s... i just came back from the yamaha dealership to return some jets and asked them how much they were selling there vf3s. he told me i will give them to ya for a good price $550.00 dont worry i looked at him and said  with the carbs i think i will leave them stock.... for now
  16. p.s with the vf3 reeds and cages instead of the manifold would i need to get reed spacers?
  17. i was going towards the vf3 reeds but was wondering if they come with cages.. and do you also think its worth buying the billet intake manifold? or its more for looks than performance?... i will also be removin the tors.. anything i should look out for when removing it or is it straight forward? thanks
  18. bump
  19. hey people i have a stock motor and soon hoping in the furture to mod it.... Im looking to buy the Noss head but dont no anything about it like do i need to change the timing or do i just swap heads and my bike will run quicker???(very curious they look good hahah) im aslo looking at buying an intake manifold to suit v force reeds like the noss head i dont know much about them.. are they worth the money??? does the manifold make a difference??? should i stay with the stock cages and change the reeds?with the new manifold will i need spacer kit? will i ned to change my jetting?(this being my next mod) Now lets talk bigg $$$ if i was to buy a 4mm stroker kit aand use the Noss head with no porting how do i no how much compression i want or is required? will i need to port it? change timing? change pistons?(later on in the future) let us know what u think im currently running T-5 s with a pro design foam air filter with the toomey vents in the air box and lid.. any suggestions willing to spend up to a couple of hund. for now...What do u think i should do and where can i get the best pricess coz in Australia every thing will cost ya a arm and a leg thanks jack
  20. thanks

  22. p.s if i was to buy aftermarket reeds what adjustments would i need to change with the jetting? and any recomendations on to which are the best ones to buy for me..or should i wait a bit go all out and buy the the v force 2 or 3 cages and reeds?
  23. i will try both and see the difference.. nice clip u were smokin... come down to AUS i will line ya up hahaha but i will need to put side mirrors so i can seee ya ... jokes lol
  24. no i dont have have the tors removed yet hoping to do so in the future.. im spewing i just came back from yamaha and i friken spent $80.00 on bigger pilots (27.5) and larger mains hahah only if this was posted in the am hahah.. well wen i thought i jetted it (before i read the posts on jetting) it was running rich so i placed the clip 1 groove higher (#3) and i didnt play with the air screw, it blew less smoke but in one exhaust it was spittin a lil bit of raw fuel.. a couple days after i played with the airscrews and then it all went to shit wouldnt start bog on idle, no idle etc... tomorrow i will patiently work on them, do wat you said and let ya know..
  25. thanks i will try sorry to question but what is difference between the stock needles and the toomey ones? and also with the air screws do i undo them untill they came out then start turning them in or wat? thanks for the feedback
