  4. thanks J.J i appreciate the post and picture. :biggrin: if my compression is lower than 100 is it time for a top end rebuild (including pistons) or can i just re-ring them.... i guess it will depend on the condition of my pistons ay?
  5. another question guys... would it be safer to use higher compression pistons (wiseco) than the stock ones if i was to buy the coolhead with 20cc domes??? one last thing. wat is the purpose of welding your crank? wat actually gets welded? thanks again guys
  6. i dont have the coolhead yet and my head isnt shaved but if i advance it to +4 should i still see results? i also have been looking to buy the plate from f.a.s.t .... i will look at the billit one thou if i was to get the coolhead wat domes should i fit if i wanna stick to using pump fuel... im running t-5 pipes, pro foam filter, VF3 Reeds, 280 mains, stock pilots and at around 2000' feet thanks guys for the info jack.
  7. hey all.. i am plannin to buy a timing plate for my shee and would like to know exactly what it will do.. i think i have a rough idea correct me if im wrong.. if u advance ur timing u will get more bottom end and lose top end? I have noticed every1 advances there timing to +4 ..what will this achieve? and how does it work? thats all for now i will post more questions for all of u to anwser later.. thanks alot

  9. G'day all.. it has been a while since ive posted.. anyway around 2 months ago i got t-boned on my banshee and now my nerf bar 'right side' is bent but fixable and now i need a shop who can fix it for me like new... any suggestions wat i can type in google to help me thx

  13. hey guys, i have a set of t-5s and im pretty sure my jettin is good hence it idles good and when warmed up there is no bog... anyway i took it for a quick wrap today and there was thin oil resadue in my pipes (obiviously there 2 strokes) but just wanna know how much is ok or wateva? p.s i also notcied the other day when i started it one cylinder was down for a bit then later on it blew smoke like normal.. wat is the cause of this.. i know it is not a problem ran beautiful today :biggrin:

  18. hey people im just curious on how my shee would do against other quads and 2 wheelers my mods are: T-5 pipes, pro design foam filter with toomey vents in box and lid, vf3 reeds and soon getting a noss head with 21cc domes. just want rough ideas on how my shee would do up against 250 2 wheeler, yfz450 quad, 450 2 wheeler, other banshees and anything else... hahaha thanks
  19. i bought the bike from queensland and the guy rekons he only rode a couple of times.. and i have only gone through 1 tank so i dont know.. but when i get the noss head i willl do the test again.. and how much comp should i expect with the noss head on? also how strong are the stock cranks? thanks
  20. ps roughly how many hours do i have left before i have to rebuild?
  21. i used a different comp. tester and the other one was faulty :sweat: thank God for that.. my comp came out 112 and my bros came out 140 in one and just under 150 in the other.. if i get the 20cc domes and dont advance the timin wouldnt run as good? how much difference would it make and why??? thanks

  23. could i have performed it wrong? i dont think it i did.. tank off, one cylinder with plug other obivously with the comp. tester, WOT and kicked till needle stopped around 5 kicks. what should i check before testing? did i miss anything? thanks
  24. ok.. im ruffly around 50metres above sea level and my compression came out 75psi which i think is pretty crap. and my bros one came out 105 in the left and just under 100 in the right and it only a couple of hours old???... i will be using a different comp tester tomorrow and hoping the other one was outa wack! what do u think?
