I am running 2002 R6 plates in mine and have had good luck with them.

Dave seems to be doing great. He just built me a 10 mil that gets it. I would recommend his work to anyone.

Not sure what the difference is. They are three sided and the actual wire connections are rectangle. They are off of a 2002 if that helps.

I would call the filters OK. There are no holes and they work fine but there are some dents in them from hitting the frame.
