  1. I'm looking for a complete wiring harness and on/off switch. Got one? I would probably like to get the CDI too.
  2. O.K. So when it DOES start, what do you do to get it to start? Just narrowing down the problem a little bit. Right now I'm leaning on a fuel delivery problem, as the other two (spark and air) aren't likely to be variable or intermittent aside for a CDI, coil, or short in the loom. When it runs, does it run well? Does it backfire? How are you mixing the fuel? What kind of fuel? What kind of oil/gas mix? Does it backfire? Does it idle without stalling? For how long? etc., etc., etc.
  3. And then maybe buy a "." for your keyboard!
  4. Dude. Seriously. It wasn't meant to go on like that. You're girlfriend is too fat to ride on the back. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1997-Yamaha...0258980843&
  5. It's not mine. I don't have the big pics before they were reduced in size. That bike was built by Delmar Foote. Accomplished ATV racer from the old school. The man has forgotten more about Banshees than any of us will probably ever learn. He owns the shop referenced in my sig line. He's a friend of mine, and a great guy. He also just happens to build the baddest bikes I've ever seen. If you have been going to Glamis for any amount of time, you know him, or "of" him.
  6. Thanks for the feedback man! I've been looking at them and any feedback is usefull!
  7. Shipped off the IMS via UPS today. Thanks for the offers gents. This won't be the last time I swap some stuff on here. Great site. Can't believe it took me this long to actually register.
  8. What? Recommend what? :shoothead:
  9. Gas milage? Sure! It gets about 5 years to a full tank! Thanks for the offer. I have some PM's flying around so if the other deal falls out, you would be the next closest. I have to say I was flabbergasted at the price of an IMS tank when I looked it up yesterday. lol. Maybe I should have just sold it on eBay and used the cash to get a tank AND the plastics. lol.
  10. Thanks. It's actually a RHD 55 Oval. Here's another pic for reference anyway. I thought it might have been an IMS tank, but since I don't have any previous experience with an IMS, the pics I saw didn't look the same. So be it then!
  11. shovelhead, BTW, those look bad ass. I'm sold.
  12. Just curious. I'm not trying to start anything, but all forums are unique and seem to favor certain makes etc. I sense a small lean against Pro Design and a slightly larger lean towards NOSS. Is there a particular reason? My personal experience goes the other way as I have had nothing but success with the Pro Design, and I have seen some references to NOSS heads that leak and eventually pop. Give the newb here at the HQ the "HQ scoop" on ProDesign -vs- Noss and others. I'm interested in hearing opinions based on experience. Not trying to start any riots. lol.
  13. Just picked up a 91 with a red desert tank. I'm not sure of the manufacturer as I don't think I have seen one like it before. It's in good condition, does not leak, and in sunlight, you can see through the plastic to keep an eye on your fuel level. There's nothing wrong with it per say other than being used, it's just not the look I'm in to. I put 4 gallons in it, and it was right at half tank. This would be great for a XC setup. I'll post pics later.
