  1. I didnt get directions for jetting. i bought the pipes used from a friend. Yes i still have the airbox lid on with the stock exhaust cause i havent got the chance to get a k@n yet. It idles good but when i start to go and give it gas it goes slow then dies out. Im gonna try putting the stock jets on.
  2. truthfully im not sure, i think the mains are 28's but im not totally sure....
  3. well if i put the old jets back in will i get the full power still from the exhaust? i thought thats y i had to get the new jets?
  4. Well i just put a set of t5's on and put the jets in and when i start to give it gas it bogs down. I dont know to much about this problem and asked a friend and he said to change the adjust the air screws 1.5-2 turns out and i did that and still nothing. Any other things i can do. Thanks.
  5. How many ground are there on a '97? I got one hooked up in the back to the regulator only. and ya i still have the tors hooked up.

  7. How would i test my cdi to see if its good? I was told to find out the ohms.
  8. Ya, i did all that stuff but im gonna try a new cdi.
  9. Well i just put my banshee together and its not getting any spark. Im pretty sure the wiring is good and the stator is good. What should i do?

  11. So do i need to change the stator AND the CDI plugs? I would just switch the top end but the reason i bought a new engine is beacuse in the '97 motor the right piston blew apart there was a hole in it and tiny pieces of metal went down into the crank and i dont know if it cause any damage down there. I cleaned it out really good but i just decided to buy a new engine and rebuilt it.
  12. So what exactly would i have to do? I have a 89 and a 97 motor but the 97 motor top end is really bad so i just bought the 89 motor.

  14. I was wondering if i needed to make any modifications to put a '89 motor in a '97. I was told i might need a '89 wiring harness but thats just what i was told. Thanks for the help.
