  1. i built this engine so i could pull my other engine as a stroker, so i have 2 engines. the engine i am selling has ported reed cages with 2 stage reeds, vito's forged power pistons at 65.25mm, ported cyclinders, 4 dgree key, stator, aftermarket billet kickstart and dipstick, coolhead with 21cc domes, good clutches, no case damage. the engine has about 3 hours on it. so it is just broken in. also the engine was not ran hard till after 2 hours. also the carbs was ran just a little rich to keep engine wear to a min. the crank is a rebuilt oem unit with only the current engine run time. i am asking 1000+ shipping to you. the engine weighs 100 lbs so keep this in mind for shipping. the engine is located in los lunas, nm . copntact threw here or at [email protected]
  2. i swapped engines in my banshee with a ported one, with newer modle stator. so i cut the wires and used sealed quick connectors to install the engine. they did work for about a month, but now they stopped. after i built my stroker motor i put the engine back in with the original stator. i checked all my connections and also my tail light works just fine. i ohm'ed the wires and found no breaks, and no grounding out. i have a haynes manual, but honestly by this thing it should be working. any ideas? i know they weigh the bike down and people remove them, but i want them for the just incase. also they are super small oval fog light from a car.
  3. i traded a bud some rims for a 95 kx125 that was in really bad shape. i never owned a dirtbike b4 and wanted to try it out. when i got it the top end was off the bike and the rod did not spin. although i knew this would be a little costly i went on with the endever. after i got the cyclinder and remaining parts from him i found some hope. it came with a twinair foam air filter, pro-circut pipes and silencers, v-force reeds, and a air stiker carb. opon opening up the cases i found it needed new bearings and new rod. the cyclinder needed to either be coated or sleeved. i had hi-tech horsepower do the sleeve and the crank rebuild. the plastics was also in need of replacement or recoating, due to someones crappy black sporay paint. so in the bike it has recoated (blue) plastics, hi performance air filter, v-force reeds, procircut pipe-silencer,pwk air stiker carb, hotrods rod, new bearings, weisco piston, sleeved, spark plug, and extra jets. i rod the bike for about 1 hour on a slow light trail ride to break it in. i like riding the bike , but it way too much work for me. this bike is ready to go, and will so for a long time to come with proper maintenance. also with sleeving it saves money on future rebuilds. replating cost about 300 for good quality. the bike is located the the abq- los lunas, new mexico area and i am asking 1500 for it. kbb retail for privet seller is 1770. if you would like pics or any other info please email at [email protected] or threw here.
  4. so i put the 310 mains in it, and had to readjust the air screws. they are now 1.5 out and withthe 310 its alot better. there is still a little problem with it though. idle is great, mid is great, but when comming out of a turn there is a little bogg right b4 the engine picks up speed. although i herd this is completely normal for a 2 stroke.
  5. alrighty. ill try a 310 and see what happens. although it feels really great on wot/ even with choke out
  6. my air screws are almost all the way out. right now they are at 2.5 out, which is max. do you all think my mains may a bit too fat causing too much of a low end problem? i will start with the mains and see what happens. if it gets better i will try my 27 pilots
  7. so i have a heavily modded shee with fmf fatty pipes, fmf silencers, k&n filter, cool head with 21cc domes, standard plugs, 4 degree key, vito's pwer pistons, 2 stage reeds, ported reed cages, and trail ported cylinders. the problem i am having is at idle and just off idle. at idle it is running super rich. so much that my idle screws are almost all the way in. it is not fouling plugs, but breaks up badly when at part throttle. yes i know a shee is supose to be driven wide open, but i do like to slow down and cruiseevery now and then. the pilots are stock 25, the needle is stock and middle, and the main is a 330. when pulling the chock half way the wide open is a little sluggish. so as far as i can tell with the feeling and plugs(killing after wot running for a few min) the mains are perfect. they might be a little rich if nothing else. 1/2 throttle is awsome too, no real bogging. so only at idle and in the pilot circut. so the smallest pilot i found has been 25 which is stock and thats what i have. so how do i correct this. does every one with ported cylinders have the same problem. all and all the bike is awsome. it lifts the wheels in 1-2-3 when shifting. i dont get traction, but it sure is fun to super powerslide turns. also my budies hate me. they are always eatting my dust. also i have a spare engine i just built, with near the same set-up. the only exception is aftermarket stock style reed cages, and a 4mm stroker crank. would the jetting be totaly differnt for that engine?
