  1. Well, my shee already had a pvl ignition setup on it when I bought it, so I'm not sure what it's SUPPOSED to look like. I'm coming off a yfz450. I took the side cover off to switch my 13t sprocket for a 15t. Well, once I got it off I noticed some metal shavings and was like WTF? I look down and the nut is just kinda hangin there on the end of the stud that everything mounts on. Shavings were from the inside of the nut gettin wallowed out by the shaft it's supposed to screw onto. Shaft is fine, it has a tapered no thread spot on the end. I KNOW it was supposed to be there at some point, but is it supposed to tighten down when the pvl stuff is in there. I'm not sure.. It's kinda weird, there's no flywheel, so who know?? LOL I'm just surprised that if it IS supposed to be there, nothing has came apart yet. LOL
  2. Hey, I just recently got a banshee that already had a bit of stuff on it. I'm in the process of getting the correct jets and needle for these keihin carbs, but I just noticed that it only has 1 spring on the pipes. I have no idea where the other 3 are. Are these the same springs as stock so I can just order a new kit online, or are they T5 specific?? Anybody have any idea where I can get these??? I'm hoping to have all the carb stuff in this week and would like to take it to ride somewhere this weekend. Thanks, Les
  3. Holy cow man. I wish your friend a quick recovery. Things like this happen. There's nothing that you could do. If he was riding within his limits and not showing out, there was no way for you to anticipate what would happen. It's natural to blame yourself or think of "what ifs" after the fact, but you have to realize that it's just one of those things. Just be there for him and be happy that he is going to recover. It could have been worse. I lost a friend in a bike accident a few years ago. I wasn't with him, and I went through the "what if" routine as well. If you need anyone to talk to, please PM me. I will do anything I can to help. PS, Good luck with gettin the shee back cup and running. Sounds like a really nice ride. Les
