i have a kx500 motor with a 39 mm keihin carb on it and the bike absolutely rips. i also have a banshee thats stock, but i recently came across a 2 into one intake, a 4mm stroker crank thats true and welded, timing plate, billet impellar, shift star, stock jugs with blaster pistons and a cool head. will the 39 mm work for this setup. it worked on the kx500. any help or suggestions will be appreciated. thank you in advance

it was my buddy jeff that went flying off the top of competition hill. he said he tried to ride it out but he fell and got knocked out. he said he was out for awhile. his bike is destroyed and he has terrible bruises all over his body. im putting together a heavy metal / church music concert to help him fix his bike for presidents day riding. im calling it " JEFF AID 2009". all are invited. tickets are 12.99 each. ............haha

did you guys see the guy that launched off of competition hill last weekend? he was knocked out for twenty minutes. he was riding a bananarama yellow banshee. the news said that they had to amputate his left butt cheek and one testicle. poor bastard.

bananarama is owned by jeff and snow white is owned by kevin. they are cool, but i secretly hate and despise the both of them. shshshshshsh. keep it quiet. its a secret

yep, i saw mr bananarama out there. whats cool is that his banshee isnt stretched, isnt stripped down to look like a skeleton, and he bashes on it all day. hes a friend of mine and he gets much props for trailriding that thing too

im not lieing. i have a banshee, raptor 686, yfz478, and a yfz470. the banshee and the raptor ride like sofas compared to the yfz's. we ride at least sixty miles round trip every weekend. so depending on which bike i take, at the end of the ride my whole body feels it. the yfz is agile and nimble but the stock shee goes everywhere the yfz does and doesnt hurt. good luck with your project, im glad youre doing something different. i hope it turns out good and congrats on the new member of your family

i have a banshee with stock suspension and a yfz with stock suspension. the banshee rides ten times smoother than the yfz. the yfz rides like a brick. id rather keep the banshee motor in the banshee frame. its like riding a cadillac compared to the yfz. now if youre going to be jumping or racing around a track then i guess the yfz frame is the way to go. just my 2 cents

we are all headed to amargosa this weekend. there are a bunch of us going. there is a nice mixture of wonder bread honkeys, and us bean eating beaners going. hope to see other groups out there for fun in the sun and drag racing.

i did pass them once that day though. i wizzed by them. i was happy . jeff sent me a text message that said, " thats the last time you pass me today!"-----it was the morning heading there, and we were on the freeway when i passed them

i blame two guys for finding a way to get my lungs full of sand. i dont know if they have magical powers of if they are just some kind of sand demons. i went to amargosa last saturday and had the horrible experience of racing these two devils, one aboard a bananarama yellow banshee, and the other aboard an icicle white banshee. they climbed the hill way too fast and made me swallow, eat and inhale sand every time. beware these fuckin bastards. i hate them. ----just kidding guys--much props on the monsters you guys ride

hey clint, whats up man! thanks again for your help out there. i got the timing plate now and the billet impellar, the bike works nice. i need to get the coolhead next. that was cool that you guys gave me a hand out there. i cant make it out there this weekend, but we ride every damn weekend. this time i have to be in l.a. this saturday. we were all at dumont last weekend. and two weeks before that too. ill have to catch up to you guys next week. we are all heading to amargosa thanksgiving weekend just for the saturday. say hi to the dude with the white banshee. i got more advice to ask you guys for 4 1 5 - 0 0 0 4. :biggrin:

whats going on man, i live near bob baskin park on oakey near rancho

a few months ago i went to the amargosa sand dunes. i took my banshee and it ran like junk. i met two dudes out there. one with a hyped up yellow banshee and his buddy with a nice white banshee. they saw i was having trouble and they helped me out. they tore apart my carburetors, rejetted, fix the seal on the bowl, and they adjusted my clutch. they both gave me suggestions and advice on mods and a timing plate. i wish i could find them to tell them thanks again. im glad i ran into them. they live in las vegas and they kick the shit out of everyone trying to drag race at apex. a buddy of mine saw them once out there when i couldnt make it, but they didnt get their phone number.
