  1. i dont know what pleasure you guys get from mocking legitimate questions. no high flow impellers dont add hp. they aid in cooling your bike and thats it
  2. welcome to ny. vp fuel c12 110 octane is sold at like 2 places around here. ny isnt the motor city, its jew york
  3. i happen to like both 4 strokes and hondas. idk about the mens fashion thing, i look like a bum and dress in rags so i can have a fast banshee. o ya i have a e46 m3, gas is like $4 a gallon now and banshee fuel is $9g...f my life
  4. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUAL-STAGE-Yamaha-Banshee-reeds-reed-cages-1987-2006-AFTERMARKET-/290677672025?hash=item43adbd4859&item=290677672025&pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr well i gotta say i never seen this before. reminds me of duncan racings pyramids, but its defiantly in its own category. any idea if this is some redneck hp trick or what?
  5. im pretty sure this dude like the plastic of banshee. as i did when i bought one. if i were to go back and do my banshee life over agian id would have bought a 250r
  6. cc measures displacement within the cylinder, there for the larger the cc the more gas and air it will use. with that being said, the more cc's the larger the carbs need to feed it. and to top it off, the higher octane fuel that you may or my not use will cost more money and burn quicker. so here are your options stay stock and get yamaha mpg get a bigger motor and buy a oversized gas tank if money becomes a factor in anyplace when trying to make hp then dont do it. there are milder upgrades that can be done to make a more ride able banshee. if it looks like im stating the obvious, its because i am. sorry if im braking your hp heart, but this is life. if u wanna go fast, u better have deep pockets.
  7. without being there and knowledge of the install none of us will be able to help you. my suggestion is to take it apart and inspect your work. a tip for the future dont fully reassemble stuff untill you tested it. im assuming it has something to do with the spring. try pulling your shift shaft towards you, maybe your selector isnt touching the star pins.
  8. dont bother with stock stroke. u can use a 4mill in stock unmodified cases. this is better than bore size, in my opinion. the only way to know if u like something is too buy it and try it.
  9. i know for a fact there not going to like the pur of my cheetah, my neighbor 2 houses away has literally tryed kill me over how loud my bike was.
  10. look in my sig. theres a how to for fixing the rear using a 250r caliper
  11. there dicks. i had to buy spark arrestors for like 60 bucks each at the dune land. they told my my pt high revs with a stock motor was barley legal db. make sure ur shit has a screen/ spark arrestor and a fresh pack of fiberglass
  12. now that i think of it, sounds like the guy has a breathalyzer on his bike. either that or the alcohol vapor from his breath primes the engine
  13. sounds like your either flooding it or ur carbs are dirty and clogged
  14. thats what im here for
  15. i have them i cant say i have this problem. funny thing is i watched a video before that is kinda like ur problem. at least ur banshee dosnt sound like its going into defcon 5
  16. wat cc are we talking here?
  17. maybe a serval isnt for you. id say consider a big bore rz350 motor. that would work well with any stock motor pipes (pc,t5,t6,pt,fmf) just watch out some pipes will not clear the power valves. honestly, ive used the "wrong pipe" on my motor before. i liked it too. who cares wat makes more power, its all about application. although like john said, u dont wanna keep the heat in ur motor and have a Chernobyl meltdown.
  18. im gauging interest in trading my drag cut plastic for a set of stock, uncut, mint, white plastic. im not looking for garbage or other colors i want white. plastics are in the sig. not in a hurry to get rid of them so no i wont take cash.
  19. common misconception my friend. welcome to the boards lol. bore is only telling you how large and heavy the piston is. port timing is what really makes the pipe respond. go on cp industries website, he shows you measurements and pics of his ports, now compare these to your stock cylinders. you see the difference? if you dont let me point a few HUGE differences. 1 being servals are mono block, and have drastically different port design. i dont wanna sounds like a idiot here, but i checked cp website and he dosnt list the serval so i have no idea wat the ports look like but i could assume it has boost ports in both the intake and exhaust. im sure the transfers are larger than stock.... all these things play into what the optimal pipe should be. t5,t6,pt,fmf,pc were all designed and based of off the stock port design, itls alot like putting a ls1 engine in a civic and just because the civics exhaust can be fitted dosnt make it the right choice(obviously not a real comparison). with that being said, ill say this. my money is with cpi or shearer. why? because these pipes were based off of the cheetah/cub port timings and if you know anything about the serval its suppose to be a less aggressive, more ride able cub witch is achieved by lowering the port timing. http://www.cpindinc.com/pub/part_list?manufacturer=3
  20. "i dont think we have many record setting bikes on this site." although yea loco ill admit. u have one of the biggest motors that i can think of. (what r u trying to hide ) by chance do we have any triples on the site?
  21. i dont think we have many record setting bikes on this site. hop on planetsand.com, thats where all the big boys go. the fastest bikes will always be build by some builders shop and they will invested thousands in r&d just to have there name on the front page of the site. these bikes are funny cars of there realm, i personally think "the fastest bike" question is paradoxical because there isnt a technical/mechanical limit, only a financial. although, if i were to guess one of (if one exist on boards) the crankenstien id assume is the fastest bike. you know the bike that uses a rotax top end. yeah no one took this post serious, but i kinda wanted to know myself.
  22. its funny because i found this add last week and payed no attention to it
  23. your on the wrong site for that lol. try a trx forum, these bikes are more 250r than banshee
  24. Hum i only said that twice
  25. well id say it be better to get a yfz. i like banshee motors and plastic, thats about it... no going to write a page essay on why to get a yfz, but they are trail friendly and have better chassis period.
