  1. Well, the v force reeds are new but I pulled them anyways...they look fine. (carbs are sinked) I checked the crank case to see if it was loaded up but it was dry. I checked compression, and got 95 psi out of both sides kicking it. Then I placed each piston at tdc and forced some air pressure and there was no air bubbles out of the radiator, so there's no sign of a bad head gasket. up until now I thought it might be a stuck ring but now I think the carb is flooding the cilinder with so much gas that it's not firing...hence the fuel out of the exhaust and low exhaust presure...or and ignition issue "Jeeze" I plan to try switching the carbs to see if the problem moves with the carb??? I do have two questions though 1.on the slide, does it matter which way the cable holder faces, because one way covers a hole in the slide? 2. at the bottom of the float bowel there's two passages that connect, in one bowel I found a jet in one of the passages, in the other bowel no jet, but it looked like a ball-check valve....is that right and does it matter which carb they go on ?? Thanks for the replys and help!!
  2. I am trying to jet a new lightly moded shee, so here go's At wot it flogs a little then cleans up, the right plug is starting to change color but the left looks wet fowled, almost like it's not firing...clean no color at all. The left exhaust is spitting fuel on wot and when chopped it floggs smoke. Also, when I hold my hands at the back of the pipes on wot the left has much weaker exhaust pressure. I checked for spark and it's strong. I pulled the plugs and the left piston top is wet while the right is dry. coolant level is up and not moving. I'm guessing its either a compression problem or an ignition problem, but I was hopping for a little more insight. Thanks! stock carbs, v-force, torq spacers, fmf pipes, moose carb tops, 25 pilot, 260 main, stock needles-clips 2 down, no lid.
