  13. To all those that are sending me PM's, please be patient. The forums allow me to send a response once every 15 mins?? I don't have time to sit and wait to reply to all. I'm sorry if I have not responde quickly. I hope I am not breaking any forum rules, please email me at [email protected] and you will have a response within 12 hours. I will also be putting up a complete part out list with prices soon. Unfortunately I am going on vacation in 2 days and will have very limited internet until the 29th of June. I have included some new photos of the engine. Cylinder head off, one side is very pitted, and the piston on the same side is aswell(not as bad) but will need replacing. Cylinder walls are good. Other piston is good. I can move the kickstarter and you can see in the video that the pistons are moving aswell. The clanging you hear in the video is actually my bolts pan clanging around. I can take another video if any one that wants to buy it wants me to. It has a wiseico crank and the pistons are 3 over. The bike does shift through the gears, I don't know what caused the kickstarter to not turn over or all those small aluminum shavings in the oil.
  14. I will look into that this weekend. Would that cause the bike to quit running though while cruising along? Thanks
  15. Hey guys, I have a 2001, it just died one day and will not start. I'm no mechanic and was gonna sell it as a roller or part it out. The kick start does not move at all. Is that typical of a bad crank? I got curious today and pulled the cylinder head off. I was able to move the pistons up and down, albeit difficult. Both cylinder walls are smooth and the pistons seemed ok. When I drained the oil it had aluminum looking shavings. Any ideas as to the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  16. yes, still available and willing to part it out if you need anything.
  17. see classifieds for complete post, sorry if I have mass posted. trying to sell local and need to figure a price. Washed the quad, but dried it off, no armor all or anything to shine it up. Oil below shows the shavings when I drained.
  18. Here's the dealio, she has FMF complete exhaust, new chain(10 rides) and sprockets, K&N filter, extra wide grab bar not shown is included, nerfs, rear skid, bent belly skid. It was bored out and a better crank installed, cant remember what bore was done. Has an extra crank, one side is good, the other I think may actually need a new bearing. A bunch of stock stuff is included as extra. Clear title. 1 picture shows how the oil looked after I drained it, some silver shavings. Kick start will not move. Rear axle hub and front a arms have some movement, I'm sure they will need new bearings. Pictures are after I washed it, it is dry and NO armor all is beautifying it. Would like to sell whole, not sure what its worth. Any input would be appreciated.
  19. In Buffalo NY, pix will be up tomorrow.
  20. Hey guys, I have a complete 2001 that appears to have a toasted crank. It ran perfect and all of a sudden it died. I don't have the $$ to fix and am moving in 6 weeks. I need to sell this. It is in typical shape for a 2001, clean title. What do you think this is worth. Pretty much all stock and in good shape. If no one here wants it, I'll put it on craigslist. Thanks
  21. Hey guys, I have a clean titled 2001 Banshee. I believe the crank is bad, it will kick over but is very difficult and only every other kick or so. Of course it ran perfect up to this point:( Typical shape for a 2001. What do you guys think is a good price to ask for this. I don't have the money to fix and I am moving in 6 weeks. Might as well get rid of it. Only thing wrong is the engine. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am going to put it up on Craigslist or something. Thanks
