ok im gettin ready to put my banshee back together. i am boring it .30 over with new wiseco piston and rings new wrist pins and bearings the usual stuff you would replac eon a top end rebuild im also lookin to have the head shaved how far can i cut it and not have to worry about getting the chambers re shaped i was thinkin .30. also puttins on pro circuit pipes and silencers and new reeds. what kinda of compression wuill i have with the shaved head at about 500above sea level and also what kind of jeeting will i need? thanks for any help i tried the search button

i dont know if it has a stock plate i have to get a puller to take the flywheel off and see im pretty much guessing its the timing now due to the fact everyone is sayin it is

also the mechaincal drums on the front and rear caliper suck get the newwer hydralic setup off a 03 and newer

ya deff could makin a killing. jus dont wanan see any damage to it more than the couple gears he needs to replace. since hes had it we put some time and money into. jus dont wanna see it turn into a moneypit and get the horrible its a banshee \curse that people but on them around here. people always say its a 2 stroke its got 2 of everything yadda yadda. he maintains it very well

my cousin bought a 98 banshee couple months back.since hes had the quad its ran backwards about3 times. last week he went to start it and the kicker wasnt working so he took the side case off and found teeth to b missing on the kicker gear and the gear on the back of the clutch basket. could this have been causing the problem all along or is there something else wrong. the bike has a fresh rebuild on it about 30hrs runs great other than this and it only haped a few times .

The ball joints are not replaceable only way to replace would be with a hole new arm. So you can not pc the stock arms. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

pretty much when we ride we have a good mix of quads but theres a group about 6 that have banshees some lt250rs and other misc quads. my bike is tore down due to top end rebuild jus havin a hard time comin up with the cash. im also lookin to shave the head bump timing new reeds tors removal kit and idle screws
