  1. I disconnected my parking brake, and put the plate on it. Now the shee will idle but when I get on the throttle it acts like it has a rev limiter and wont rev up. I can put it in gear and it will move just no faster than about idle speed. I asked a couple of people and they said it is probably the parking brake sensor. Any ideas from you guys? Also what should the t.o.r.s. be set at roughly. another guy adjusted those and doesnt remember what they were set at. He said it was like 2 and a half turns out?? Any suggetions will greatly be appreciated.

  2. Well here goes my 5 most hated;

    Bisping- just because he even acted like he won that fight against Hamill.

    Matt Hughes- I am all about if you want to go to church great, but dont make someone who came to a show to fight read the bible if he doesnt want to. And I can't stand his whinning.

    Matt Sera- his voice says it all, and everything that comes out of his mouth.

    Jens Pullver- Had to change franchises just because he knew he would never be the lightweight champ in the UFC

    Rob Emerson- just couldn't stand him on the ultimate fighter.

  3. I just rebuilt my carbs, and put them on and now the banshee will idle but as soon as I give it gas it just boggs down like it wants to stall???? Im confused. There is no suction in the left carb, but both carbs are getting fuel, and there is suction on the right carb. It did run before the carb rebuild. It would kinda bogg down when I first hit the throttle but then would take off. Could this be the reeds?

  4. Ok... I am lost, I rebuilt my carbs. Nothing fancy just a plain stock rebuild kit. Put ir all back together and then the trouble started. If I spray starting fluid in the carbs and hold it wide open, it starts but doesnt even rev up. If you let of the throttle it shuts off right away, but if you hold it open it will run untill the starting fluid is gone. Even kept it running for about 2 min with short sprays of starting fluid. I tried adjusting the T.O.R.S. to see if that did anything but still nothing and now I think I have lost where the T.O.R.S. were set at the begining. Any help would be appreciated.

  6. Anyplace I can find a part description of the banshee??? I have worked on race cars, 4x4 trucks, and go-karts all my life and this shit you guys are talking about on here is just confusing to me. I am trying to read all of the posts to learn about the banshee and two strokes but I am just flat lost.

    Thanks

  7. I appreciate all your help. I understand the power range and stuff, but my g/f has a 350 raptor that pulls me untill I get to third gear. LOL I have rode a couple of other banshees before I got mine (some stock and some with a few mods) thats what sold me on them. I bought mine and the guy said it was all stock that he new of but he was the second owner. I thought it was the fuel also because you can hear it sucking the air but just wont go anywhere, any ways to check the jetting, or what I should be running. I am running it in 70 to 80 degree weather, not sure of the elevation mainly Haspin Acres in Indiana?

  8. I am new to this forum, and to tuning on Banshees or any 2 strokes for that matter so I need some help. Right now my Banshee has no bottom end for take off. When I got to take off it just boggs down and sounds like its not getting enough air any help would be appreciated. Also any suggestions on making it a better trail bike for hair scrambles would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
