  1. for the mean time i will just unplug them....what will doing that do? a friend of mine works with cnc machines maybe i will see if he can mill down my stock head...how much material can come off and be safe?
  2. will do! im guessing the tors removal has something to do with those big silver things on top of the carbs?
  3. i will check the compression this weekend! i live in south east michigan so i would say my elevation is close to sea level.....im running br8es plugs right now as well and have fouled out 2 pairs of plugs in like 2 weeks which leads me to believe that it is running real rich right now or i got too much oil in her..... I do think the bike has a boost bottle/canister as well so i do not know if that would make much of a difference or not.....
  4. thanks all in advanced! i just picked up a 99 banshee from a friend and i am looking for some insight.... like i said its a 1999 and all that i know of that is done to it is it has a set of FMF Gold Series Fatty's on it and CF reeds.....I ride mostly trails with it but it will see the dunes every once in awhile....im looking for motor mods and any other mods that would help the performance of the banshee. i do know it currently runs 32:1 fuel mix and it is jetted a lil on the rich side.....I plan on removing the airbox lid (has k&n with outerwear) and running a 40:1 mix and rejet....(what kind of jetting would i need?) love the bike but as it sits right now i cant even catch a stock 700r which is kinda depressing but hopefully just rejetting it and removing the lid will help that situation....
