DDQ im not sure on the size off hand. I put the "sleeve" more or less a plug, on the inside of the stem, Its about 6 inches long for support but only left a 2 inch gap. I was going to put another sleeve on the outside but never got around to it. i cut my stem in half, welded a 2inch sleve on it, powdercoated it and put some protaper fat bars on. Costed me 30 for the bars and free for the metal. You dont have to spend a bunch of money to have a setup that feels right for you.

I ride all winter but if I was you, I would drain the gas out and leave it sit. Or just start it up every once in a while.

Idk about all black being the only thing that would look nice, A faded frame might look kinda cool also. It seems like everyone is going black now so maby try something new.
