  1. Thanks a lot!!
  2. I just bought a banshee that needs a little TLC. When I started tearing it down I noticed that there was a hose coming from inside the water pump area (front right side of the motor) that wasn't connected to anything on the other end. It looks a little smaller diameter than fuel line, but I'm not sure what it connects to? There was also a long line that had a T-fitting with a hose connected to each side the fitting and one spot open on the T fitting. These hoses were not connected to anything either (just laying there), and I was thinking maybe the other hose (see above) may connect to the open spot on that T-fitting?? The coolant bottle is hooked up right, and the fuel lines were all on the carbs, so this one is a mystery...PLEASE HELP!! I want to start reassembly of this beast this weekend. Thanks
  3. I sent you a PM, did you get it?? Not sure if it went through
  4. I will take the axle. I will PM you when I get home from work tonight. Thanks
  5. Well I just bought a Banshee for $500 from a friend of mine. When he brought it back to Wisconsin a couple years back he couldn't ever get it to run like it did out in Oregon. So he needed the cash and finally sold it to me. It has Bill's Pipes, reed spacers, boost bottle, been bored over (we aren't sure how much), TORS removed etc. It has really good compression. He was running the Toomey 2 into 1 airfilter system which clamps right to the carbs. I just want to get this thing running again. He says it will run, it just seems really doggy. I took the carbs apart to clean them, and everything else on the bike. The carbs currently have 320 mains in them. I just bought a stock airbox w/foam filter off ebay. I am gonna use this instead of the Toomey set-up, because I ride in all types of terrain, and want the protection of the airbox. SO my question to you guys is can you give me a good starting point of what to set the carbs at to run with my set up WITH the stock airbox installed? (main jet size, airscrew turns, needle clip, pilot jet?) Also is there a way to tell what year it is by looking at the VIN #??? He told me it's a 96, but it has different plastic? Thanks for the help!!
