  1. hey i noticed that the drag forum is kinda dead so how about telling everyone who did your motorwork and why you chose them. ill start

brent schimmer of DirtWorx out of Grand Island, Nebraska.

his stuff is the fastest around here and he is always in the top 3 at oklahoma.

his 520 t-rex ran a best of 3.88 so far with his 240 lb ass on it.(click the link in my sig for a video of it) he really needs a jockey. i chose him because he is close and really dependable, stands behind everything he does. and when your on a trip and something goes wrong on your bike, he takes time out of his riding to work on your bike.

so who done your engine and why did you pick them?

  2. it doesnt matter anyways because hp doesnt mean shit. you can cheat the fuck out of the dyno all you want. and if you only have pipes how much hp you got shouldnt matter. and once you get to the point that you got alot, you dont care how much the number is because there are a million different variables that you have to get to work to tune the bike and get the power to the ground.

  3. you can run them and it will not hurt the motor at all.

inframe cpis are the exact same as out of frames so you should get them because the power will be the same and you wont look stupid. by stupid i will give you an example. my brother and i both have badass drag banshees. i have 2 cousins with bone stock banshees that put drag pipes on them to be cool. one doesnt even have paddle tires. at the jamboree in front of 1000 people we made him race my friend(who has a alchohol 7 mil) on his blaster he bought for a pit bike. hes got a mild port on it w/a pipe and paddles. the blaster beat the drag piped stock banshee. he beat him bad and embarassed him in front of everyone. i have drag porting and all kinds of shit done to my banshee and you can pretty much only drive it in a straight line for drags. however its not in a drag frame and its not a monoblock or a stroker so i run inframes. because when you at are a big place like little sahara and you have drag pipes and lose to 50 guys that are running inframes you just look plain stupid.

but if you want, u can run them w/o any harm to the motor. i just suggest getting your motorwork fast and get a hell of a lot of it.

  4. give them your cylinders. probably pay around 300 for a mid range port job depending on the builder. you might want to true and weld the crank and get a new clutch cause the stock one might not be able to handle the extra power. you will gain a good amount of power. enough that it will be like a whole new bike and you will absolutely love it....until you get beat by someone and then want more.

  5. i love riding a banshee, i feel superior to everyone else out there except faster banshees. there nothing like the feeling of whomping everyones ass in a drag race, then coming back to the line and everyone's looking at you after you just destroyed all the rest and you just crack the throttle a little bit and the fucker throw sand 20 ft high and it comes up on you and the drag pipes echo through the dunes and trees. then when you come back to camp just idle back w/ the drag pipes cackling and the alky blowing out them and everyone's just staring. you really feel like king shit.

  6. damn thanks for the link.

by the way i just started learning the solo to stairway last night and got out of class and am workin on it now and it really aint all that hard. its really starting to sound pretty good ya know but ive only been playin little over a year. i WILL have it mastered over christmas break.

    heres an invaluable link.......

    Guitar Dreams

under the lessons menu it teaches you how to do all kinds of stuff and has the tab for it and then gives you slow, medium, and fast music files of what it should sound like beside it.
