I'm going to be in Gleason,Tenn. Its a old new track since last weekend. 1/8 mile. They laid down two new lanes. Mid America Motorplex in Pacific Junction, Iowa is building a 300ft sand drag track. Mid America has a 1/8 mile NHRA track and a road course track too. Mid America is going to have one of the fastest sand drag tracks in the country. Planet Asphalt and Sand Planet is one of the track sponsors. Planet Asphalt and Mid America would like have a atv event on both tracks in same weekend someday soon. It's easy for Mid America to have 6 or more events in one weekend. Putting on one huge race a year don't help the sport grow. To get the exposure and help grow atv asphalt racing. It has to be every weekend. I call a lot of NHRA and IHRA tracks every week. Some tracks will change the rules, so the sand draggers that are over 60" can come in and race. I setup dates when i'm going to be at there track. Than I work on getting the word out to you so you can come out and race at the tracks when I'm there. Exposure is number 1 on my list to get done.

I tried to talk about this race last week on Planet Sand. But got kicked off again. They don't like the Asphalt Ambassador. I'm setting up these races for you guys. I do a lot to promote this sport that we love. Than I get kicked talking about the asphalt racing on a sand site. I have magazines that want a write up every month on the asphalt draggers. June 24 2007 at Cedar Falls,Iowa NHRA track. 10.38 at 119mph in the 1/4 mile. The motor is a unported 710cc 20mm stroker D/M. 123hp with 70lbs of torque at the rear tires. The dragger weighs at 300lbs. Me weighs at 240lbs. That is the fastest e.t. time recorded on a 20mm D/M motor at any NHRA track.

There is going to be a lot atv's racing at Memphis Motorsports Park this Saturday night Aug 4th. The track is having a Midnight Madness race. You have sand dragger? The track is going to let in in. If wheelbase is over stock wheelbase, you will need a chain guard. Also you will need asphalt racing tires on the back. You will need a leather and gloves. Long pants and shoes above the ankles. Full faced helmet or moto-x helmet with goggles. Titan Racing will be there. Ron at Planet Asphalt is the one setting this up for you. The track is working with Ron on the rules and doing other events with Planet Asphalt. Gates open 9pm. Racing at 10pm. Memphis is one of the biggest NHRA tracks in the country. Hope to see there..
