  1. What does everybody use to get the large axle nuts off. Actually getting them off is not a problem, but what about torquing the nuts. The largest wrench that I have is 1 1/8", which is way to small.
  2. I always used the Bel-Ray water proof grease.

    TORS Idle Screw

I am having a hard time finding pro design website. Do you have a link or an address.

    TORS Idle Screw

I am interested in your items. For clarification, are you talking about about the whole TORS setup (pieces on top of the carbs & cables) or just the screw that I need? I don't want to offend, so do have any amount in mind over the shipping?

What do you need from me so that I may get those from you?

    TORS Idle Screw

I need and idle screw. I still have the TORS on my bike and the head broke off of mine.
  7. Thanks, that fixed the problem.
  8. I just rebuilt my banshee and cleaned the carbs. When I start the bike it idles fine but when I give it gas it bogs. It will not rev at all. I followed troubleshooting in clymbers manual. I checked Throttle switch, carb switches and the t.o.r.s. No matter what I do nothing makes a difference. The carbs seemed to be synched. (I think??)
  9. To make the process easier stick the crank in the freezer let it get really cold. Then heat your case with a propane torch. Then install the crank it will slide right in. When you turn off your torch to get your crank do it as quick as possible. It does not take long for the case to start to cool off and your crank to warm up.
  10. Banshee cylinders are very similar to all my 2 stoke cylinders off of my mx bikes. I am under the impression that ports in a 2 stroke are like a cam in a car. You will get different types of power depending on how you open your ports. Making a port longer will make your motor act different compared to making them wider. I am sure you will see a difference in your motor if you port it yourself. Whether it is a good change will remain to be seen. I personally would not attempt porting myself, without being willing to take the risk of messing up your cylinders.
  11. My Banshee that I picked up on Monday backfires out of the right side (brake side). The right cylinder does not come to life at the same time as the left one. It is noticeably delayed. I checked compression and both cylinders checked @ 100 psi, and from what I have read that is a low for a stock motor. I didn't know where to start looking.
  12. I raced motocross for about 8 years and the things that helped me the most with arm pump is a lot of practice. Lots and lots of laps during the week will help your arm pump. Another thing is don't hold your breathe when action gets intense. Over jumps relax your grip (open your hands) give your arms a rest.
  13. I just got a 99 Banshee yesterday. When I opened the Air Box there is a K & N Filter just sitting there. It is not attached to anything. So what do I need to fix it. Pictures would help me out. From what I read by searching for compression 120lbs. is what a stock Banshee should have. Mine has FMF SST pipes and silencers and that is it.
