  1. Key on? Switch on RUN? Pet cock turned to the ON position? Tank full of gas? Disconnect the TORRS and I bet the shee fires right up.
  2. Dudes, this sucks, I start my shee, click her in gear, let out the clutch, gun the trottle and.....I STAY IN THE SAME FRIGGIN SPOT. My shee doesn't move. Yes, the chain is connected. Is my gear box toast? do I need to adjust the clutch? do I need to adjust the shift mechanism? I pulled the clutch cover off and discovered grim, grit and slim debris from the fiber plates. It was all packed on the basket inbetween the fingers. Oh, WHAT WAS YAMAHA THINKING!! O-rings between the fiber discs? What the hell are those orings for? You think my clutch was just dirty and not engaging?
  3. Cool! One of the spark plug caps was not seated fully on the plug...and I disconnected the TORR at the carbs and throttle from the wiring harness. RUNS CRISP NOW! Geez, now the damn thing doesn't go. I let the clutch out and nothing! AHHHH another problem. CHIT!
  4. Thats why I am asking, because I never cleaned the inside of exhaust pipes either. I thought the banshee has a special problem with dirty pipes on the inside.
  5. How do you clean the exahaust pipe? Why is it important to clean banshee exhaust pipes? Because they have that snail shape and foreign material or liquid could accumulate at the bottom of the pipe? Thanks, John
  6. I disconnected the coil and forgot to write down which terminal the orange and black wires get connected to. Does the orange wire go to the positive or negative side? Thanks guys. John
  7. This is my first post and I have to say, what a great website for Banshee information. I already troubleshooted the banshee extensively with the information I learned from this board. Problem: My banshee wasn't getting any spark. Solutions: 1. I purchased a new coil from the Yamaha dealer and I still didn't get any spark. 2. I disconnected the three prong plug on the TORR black box AND NOW IT GETS SPARKS AND RUNS, but runs like the choke is pulled out. It is running very rich. Questions: 1. Is the banshee running terrible because the TORRS is disconnected? 2. Should I go purchase another TORRS black box at the Yamaha dealer? 3. Do I electrical tape the TORR plug up and go ride it? Will is run fine with only the plug disconnected? 4. THere is a switch on the throttle and carb tops, what do I do with those electical components? Thanks for your help guys. John
