Thanks
  2. well i want to put a cool head on it 21cc probrably... still want to use pump gas i figured if i have the head off may as well put some pistons in it. Ill prob just take it to my dealer and have him bore it over .10. thanks for advice!!!!
  3. i got a question ...most likley a noob question but whatever... i have a stock motor. i want to install a set of weisco prolite pistons just for the hell of it. my machine has less than forty hours on her... i mean the paint hasn't even rubbed off my clutch cover! will i have to bore it over or can i just throw a set of std size pistons in it? if i check the compression and thats good i should be able to just put them in right? what should my compression be on a bone stock motor? thanks in advance
  4. sounds like vforce reeds arent what iam lookin for... boysen power reeds it is! thanks!!
  5. do they compliment the gnarlys nice? also WILL SOMEONE PLZ GIV A OPININ ON THE VFORCE V-3's!!!! i thought they were the best reeds you can buy???
  6. ordered FMF gnarlys lookin for reeds to compliment.lookin for bottom/mid. Price not a factor here.. AKheathen is recommending boysen dualstage non fiber. Any other thoughtsopinions? V-force? thanks

  9. Hey guys me again lol so i said screw the dynoport. you guys convinced me to go with something else. I think Im going with the FMF Gnarlys. ikno alot of ppl are saying alot about the PCs but cheapest i can get a set is like 650 new were FMF i can get a set around 450. I WORK AT MAL-MART HAHA:0 any ways i caled FMF and after being on hold for ever the guy told me to run the fallowing as far as jetting... Main:260 pilot: 30 1 and half turns out Plase keep in mind that iam planning on putting some after market reeds on her (advice apperciated) and iam runing an UNI filter with no airbox mods, compleatly stock motor. looking for botom/mid. iam around 1,000 feet DOES THIS SEEM RIGHT? thanks guys!!! oh and to the one but hole that says" do a seach ull find a bunch of posts... I DID DO A SEARCH!!!
  10. hey dude i canceled the dynoport... not after arguing w them but whatever lol what i get for being an inpulse buyer. i think im going to order the gnarlys from FMF. There doing 20% off so iam looking at like 450. Would you reccomend there reeds? http://www.fmfracing.com/Mode/Bike/2005_YAMAHA_BANSHEE?PFinder=Reeds i know there the carbon fiber but i thought it would be cool to keep it all from FMF. idont know is my thinking wrong? ill def look ino the dual stage from boysen. would you reccomend the V-Force V3 reeds? thanks and i REALLY appreciate ur advice!
  11. ok i went to pcs site there is the works, platinum and platinum 2...which one? also do u kno where i can get a good price on them? for about 450 i can order everything for the fmf gnarlys with the power core 2 silencers... when u say "everywhere" do u mean u get bottom/mid and top with ps's and just bottom/mid with gnarlys. to be honest if it costs 300 bucks more for he top end id just buy the gnarlys as top really dosent matter to me lol
  12. i think im canceling the order... what is the biggest difference between the PC's and the gnarlys...? keeping in mind iam looking for bottom mid power. plz just don't give a opinion without a reason as to why one is better than the other. i figure im just going to have to figure out the whole jetting thing...if i get frustrated ill throw some cash at me dealer and have him do it lol... also which reeds would u guys recommend for bottom/mid? thanks!
  13. hey dude i didnt mean to sound like i had an attitude..i just hate when ppl get cocky...were all ride and we should treat each other with respect...anywho... when i called dynpport i asked what the deal is with there pipe. he told be its a bottom/mid pipe. he told me it will sacrifice top...which iam not caring about. i asked about jetting he said no need to mess with it. my thinking is if they wanted to make some more cash off me they would have tried selling me a jet kit. i gave him no indication that i wasn't comfortable with jetting..there fore i feel like i should believe it.if anyone doubts me call them 315-255-3665 ALSO... if i did purchase another pipe which one should i go with? PS's or Garlys? thanks and i really appreciate ur opinions!
  14. THANKS FOR NOT BEING A COCKY MF LIKE THESE OTHER PEOPLE...
  15. well Ive decided to say screw it and order the pipe... every one has opinions but no first hand experience.... iam just gunna get it n if it sucks it sucks... if i have to ill take it down to the dealer n let them jet/tune it.... ill let u guys kno how it goes.
  16. oh and can some one elaborate on wha the pc's are???????????? not sure thanks!
  17. When i called them the guy told me they designed it to work with stock jetting keeping in mind i didn't have any radical engine mods (which i dont) just a uni filter. And I dont plan on doing any engine mods..... maybe a set of weisco pistons...some day... to the other two responses i appreciate your opinion but in the 3 years ive owned my shee i have NEVER hit 6th gear at WOT... so i dont think loosing some top end will really make a diffrience?
  18. Iam seriously considering ordering the dynoport 2-into one pipe. I ride mostly woods. I called dnoport, the guy was really helpful and told me its a great pipe for woods giving it more low end power. Sounds like its the pipe for me. I looked into the toomeys t6. iam not to crazy about punching holes in my airbox as it gets muddy here in upstate NY lol. Theres that and the fact that iam not comfortable tearing apart the carbs on my machine. I mean i could figure it out but i just dnt want to spend the time diking with it. dynoport tells me that there pipe works well with stock jetting. Thats what is really making me interested in the dynoprt product. any opinions? anybody run one? thatnks!
  19. I have been looking for a set of metal heel guards to replace my stock plastic units. I ride GNCC like trails and there constantly popping out. I cant stand the freaking things!! I don't want a set of nerfs with the heel guards because the lack of reverse causes me to have to put my foot down to get it rolling backwards. And in the event that I need to get off the nerfs would be in the way. I know some retard is going to say something to the fact "well why don't you get a quad with reverse" well the short answer is because i don't have to and lets leave it at that ok? now when i went for the great search for the metal heel guards all i came up with is IMS and there freaking expensive!!! i also found this company prm-atv. they want 125 bucks for a set but they didn't have them available for the shee so i called them and asked when or if they would have them available for the shee and they said they'd have them available at the end of summer. Now that sounds great but I really want a set NOW! if anybody else knows where I can get a set PLEASE let me know!!! Also if your in the same bind as I am call prm-atv @866-874-5846 and tell them you need a set for shee and maybe they will hurry up and get them produced. www.prm-atv.com
  20. Bought one for my blaster i rode the snot out of it for 2 years before i sold it and i never had a problem. hell i didn't even adjust it. i wouldn't think twice about buying a set for the shee. all of the tusk products are good. i bought the nrefs for my z and i was really impressed with those. my 2cets
  21. First off I don't race. honestly I don't know how people can race in a series every weekend unless there unemployed bums with no other responsibilities. second I do know that the YFZ is horrible in the trails my bone stock z400 wiped passed my buddy's YFZ with no problem. I have ridden a stock 450r and I think the overall top speed is about the same, the 450r had more bottom end. I know that the banshee could hang with it all day long with no problems. The banshee is a hell of a lot easier to get more performance out of than any 450, there's tons of potential in the banshee motor. with a four stroke you got valves timing and a whole bunch of stuff that is insanely complicated. in my opinion for just trail riding and dragging my buddy's my banshee is the best. the 2-stroke is just simple and simple is good. I don't think the banshee can out live its time, take the trx 250r its just a matter of time until the banshee is just as sought after. my 2 cents...
  22. First off I' am new to this site and I have only had my banshee for a week. I don't know if this has ever came up or not and if it has then here it is again... (yes I did a search and dint come up with anything). so after I got my banshee I started to wonder where the name came from. ive always thought the banshee name was one of the coolest out there, so as the geek that iam I went to Wikipedia to see what I could come up with and this is what I found.... The Banshee (IPA: [?b
  23. I just picked up a set of moose skids for my banshee they are sweet! Only thing is you have to get them from partsunlimited.
