It all depends on what you get done. I am going to take the swingarm, upper/lower a-arms, headlight rings, tie rods and a couple other small pieces. I will call this week and ask them and let you know. Its been a while since we have been there.
Where are you located? I am takin all our stuff to Marantha plating in Puyallup/Fredrickson. They are really good. I have a lot of friends that have gotten work done there.
I believe they will make you sand blast it off. I had a frame that was powdercoated and the guy had to sandblast it cuz it was red then powdercoated it. If you find a place that can do they should be able to sand blast it and powdercoat at the same place thats what my guy doens.
I need some advice on some powdercoating Im planning on doing to my Banshee. It is actually for my husband. He is a member on here but doesnt come on too much. I had a friend photoshop the color he was thinkin about on a picture of his bike. The frame will be orange and have chrome detailing.. We tried the chrome photoshop and it didnt come out so good. Let me know what you think.
Before-
After photoshop-
By the way the orange will probably we a little brighter once its powdercoated. Thanks for looking.
What size wheels and tires are you running in the rear? I was having that problem myself, but I changed the size of my wheels and tires and it helped a bunch. I was running 20x10x10 haluers but now I have 21x12x8 Extreme haulers and they are much better for clearance. It picked up the rear a little to give me come more clearance.
