  1. What's up guys, i'm dying to start doing some flat track racing. Does anyone know of any tracks near upstate New York? This state sucks for any trail riding but if anyone knows of some tracks i really want to get in to this.. Thanks- Kyleman.
  2. Sway bars keep the quad more level around corners and reduces chassis roll
  3. Alrightt, i'm working on putting my new clutch cable on and i noticed there isnt much room at all to work on the cable down on the lower end so ill probably just take off the carbs for some extra room. But i can't seem to get the very end of the cable out of that metal slot, is there a trick to this? I already have the handlebar side of the cable disconnected, but im a little confused with getting the lower end undone, any tips or advice on this? Thanks for your time guys, Kyleman.
  4. I know this is a stupid question, but what exactly is honing ?
  5. Hey guys, how often should i change the gear oil in my shee? Thanks for the help - Kyleman
  6. Hell yea shee rips, I have a '99 red and black! BTW-I think a poll on the ugliest banshee color scheme would be pretty sweet
  7. Hey guys, my banshee is running 108psi on one cylinder and 110 on the other... So it's about rebuild time isn't it? And if so, do i just need rings and gaskets or do i need pistons as well?
  8. The rad. cover looks sweet, i think i like it with the side carbon too.. So is yours the black colored carbon shee rips? I'm hoping to order them sometime this week before i go on vacation, i'll definately have pics up as soon as i can!

  11. Does anyone know of a good trail riding area or park in upstate New York ? I went to Lembo Lake for a day last year and i was pretty disappointed when i got there... Thanks for any input guys !
  12. Ohh and i did run a compression test, it was 110 on the left cylinder and 112 on the other. This is pretty low right? It should be around 125
  13. Yea i'm getting new plugs today but i wanted to find out what the problem was yesterday,so i figured i would clean the old plugs up and use them to find the problem.. I put her on reserve for the hell of it and it fired right up, then i switch the gas to on while it was idling, and it died out again.. ? Is one side of my fuel valve clogged or something? Thanks for the help so far guys KyleMan-Shee
  14. I also just cleaned my plugs which are about a month old and put them back in.. How do i tell if it's sparking?
  15. Uhh, i will go check out the fuel lines in a little while.. I wasn't sure if it was over heating, but it was getting pretty hot on my legs and i figured i should shut it off for a while, and yes when i kick it nothing feels wrong or out of the ordinary..
  16. Hey guys, i'm sure someone can help me out. I was riding today just down some roads for maybe five minutes. My shee was getting pretty hot so i was on my way home to let it cool down [they CAN over heat right?] and it started bogging down in sixth gear, like it was runing out of gas or not getting gas.. I let it cool down and it started, but went a few feet and died. Now it won't start at all, is it just not getting fuel or is it time for a rebuild? Thanks for your time, KyleMan-Shee
  17. Alrighty.. so i leave the other spark plug in correct? And then i put the other plug back in and test the other cylinder?
  18. Thanks again for the help. So about what should my banshee read for PSI? - KyleManshee
  19. Alright so how do i check the compression? do i get that done somewhere? thanks Twister
  20. Hey guys, i picked up my first banshee thursday and it runs awesome, i love the thing. Just to know when the time comes though, what are the first signs of needing a rebuild? It probably sounds like a dumb question but this is my first 2-smoker.. Thanks for any input
  21. Thanks alot,, well those are the only things done to it that i listed so it should be the stock banshee compression right? what octane should be put in it? I appreciate the help.
