i have no idea what the jetting is but i do know it runs like a raped ape. I dragged a few 450's and it smoked em all so i'm pretty confident it's got compression...... Just looking for somewhere to start... once i get it out of the trailer and into the garage i'm gonna pull the plugs and take a looksie but thats about as far as i know to look. I did also notice last time out it would sputter just a little when riding it hard but after i put fresh fuel in it ran great with no probs the whole weekend... just seems like it lacks power on take off from a dead stop.

Alright i have ridden my 04 banshee a few times now and it's a blast for sure !!!! I have a question about it though. I have ridden a stock banshee and the powerband is way harsh (fun). Mine has full pro circuit exhaust with the K&N's on the carbs. I can barely get it to leave from a stand still. I have to be high on the rpms to just barely get the wheels to go and even then it kinda bogs out. How can i tell if it's a clutch issue or if the powerband just sucks that low. I know nothing about these but i'm willing to learn. If this is the way the banshees are then thats fine but if not then i wanna fix it.

you are right, 02 is what i need. So many available on atvtraderonline, it's just crazy. I guess i will be on here just reading through all the info so i know for sure i want one. So far i see a banshee in my garage in the near future.

Hate to bring up such an old post but i have the same questions... what are the differences.... I just figured by bringin this post back it ill get more opinions on what to look for. I am in the market for a 2000 - 2003 due to green sticker. I am hoping to find a near stock one but we'll see. if there is any more info that someone has please post it up. This is my first post and so far i like what i see in this forum.
