  1. Ok, well after snapping a tie rod at the last hare scramble I now have an 06 YFZ 450 that I have borrowed from my buddy. First of all.... WTF!??! Its probably the fact that I was so used to the overall feel of the Shee, but good lord I could not handle this bike for shit. I could not react on the controls or steer worth a damn, and the suspension was jarring me all over the trails. Some things i liked were the low end response and the overall stability, but good lord did I ever suck at the last race. Im going to stick with it and see if i can get used to this bike, but after reading everyones feedback it made sense that i at least try a 4 stroke.
  2. I moved to South Florida recently and dragged my 04 stock banshee along. A buddy of mine here has got me into XC racing. I can just tell this quad is not cut out for this. I usually rode gravel pits and sand back in Minnesota, but this racing through trails, palm meadows, and caprock is ridiculous! Dont get me wrong Im lovin it but these 450s are tearin me up!! Ive already ordered +2+1's and Elka, now just need to look at possibly shortening the swing arm. I love the shee, be she just isnt cut out for this bone stock. Any ideas??
  3. Do you still have this available? Thanks.
  4. Just a quick question for those who may have experimented with air filter setups. I was thinking about removing my stock air filter and converting to pods. I have an 04 Banshee LE all stock except for FMF original gold series. Are pods more for an open motor that is set up to except a lot of flow, or am I better off with a single K&N with the air box removed. I dont know if this will cause a lot of jetting problems or not. Any help would be great. Thanks.
