    Oregon

I'm from Utah and the whole db level thing is foreign to me. What kind of pipes do the drag bikes run? I would love to come ride in Oregon but I would have to run cpi or shearer inframes. Are they too loud?
  7. It is a stock cylinder motor. I've been looking for the guy that built this motor but he has been hard to locate. It runs the spacer plate on the botom and a spacer on the top because the sleeves hang out of the top of the cylinders. Is this a common thing for trinity sleeves? I have been looking at the cpi's and they say to use a small bore for anything less than 500cc. Is this true with shearer as well. I have heard of Grand river but don't know anything about them or anyone that runs them. I need a set by easter and don't have time to wait for a custom set. This motor is way more than anything i've ever ridden before so I dont need the custom pipes just yet. I just want something that is a good all around drag pipe. these cylinders look like they flow quite a bit. I can stick my pinky finger in the bottom transfers and it will go in to the second knuckle.
  8. I was curious if anyone would know what exhaust setup would work best for a 10 mil stroker, 70mm piston trinity big bore kit. I will be running race gas, 35.5mm mikuni flat slide carbs, v-force, 36mil billet intakes, lockup clutch, ect. I want to run an out of frame drag pipe. Should I get big or small bore pipes with this setup? I think it's round about a 470cc. CPI or Shearer? Are ftz pipes any good? RDZ? If anyone has any for sale i might be interested...Thanks, Lance

  11. Nice arm though. Great craftsmanship.
  12. I really only plan on hill shooting this bike. it is going to be bare bones. As light as I can get it. I think the aero-arm will be plenty strong for what i plan on doing. i found a guy on ebay that sells them in whatever size you want with you choice of stock or 40mm carrier, chrome and chromoly for $455. They are pretty sweet. Let me know what you guys think...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/banshee-swi...079718180QQrdZ1
  13. This is what we mean by ladder type.
  14. Thanks, I think i'll start looking for an aeroarm. I appreciate the help. Lance
  15. H i everyone. I have a few questions to ask. They might sound like common sence questons but I have asked around my group of riding buddies and noone can give me an answer that sounds legit. So here goes. What is the difference between an Aero tubing swingarm, say its 10" over, and a ladder style swingarm the same length. swingarms By looking at them it's obvious to see the ladder style has more metal than the aerotubing swingarm so it must weigh more. Assuming that they are both chromoly, I would imagime that the aeroarm would be plenty strong and I wouldn't be jumping it so why the big beefy ladder style swingarms? Also if you can get away without running the shock linkage why would you? Does it really make that big of difference? I know this is the drag forum but I will be riding this in the sand. This bike is strictly a hillshooter (10 mil trinity big bore). I know I am just bombarding everyone here but this is where i'm at on my project and I want to buy the best one the first time. Any help would be great.
  16. At the moment the only coolhead I have is on a complete engine. I'll get back to you if I get one soon.
  17. Hello everyone. I am new to the forum but have been playing with banshees for years. I haven't ridden in a couple of years but I am starting to get more into the sand drags and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right dirrection for some aluminum spindle mount wheels and tires. What sizes are people running in the sand and what type of tire should I be using. any help would be appreciated. P.S. I have TONS of banshee parts for sale. I have listed alot on ebay and curently hold 100% feedback rating. If anyone is interested in ANYTHING give me an email. I'm looking forward to learning new things and chatting with everyone. Thanks a bunch, Lance
