I am looking to trade my 1996 banshee for a motorcycle of equal or less value ($1500-$2000 range or less). I got rid of my truck and now have found myself with no way to transport the 4 wheeler and no time to ride it. I have only owned this quad for about 3 months and have only put a few hours on it since i have owned it. The quad is red(plastic)and black(frame) with gold wheels. The quad runs extremely strong and has nearly new maxxis razor tires, lonestar axle, dual bearing carrier, DG nerf bars, renthal bars. I also have a IMS 5.5 gallon tank for it as well. For the motor it has fmf gold series pipes, bored carbs, boyesen pedals, pods, ported, adjustable timing plate. Motor was just recently gone through with wiseco pro lite pistons (.040 over) Both cylinders have 148 psi of compression at 1500'. It starts on the first kick when warm and the second or third kick when cold. I am located in Alexandria, MN. I would prefer to make a deal with someone that is somewhat close to me (300mi or less). I am looking for maybe a older sport bike(crotch rocket) or maybe a nice old cruiser bike that is 500cc or more. anybody?? I know these jetting questions are probably getting old, but i am new to the banshees and have done a ton of searching and reading but just want some good andvise so i have at least a good starting point

I am in Alexandria, Minnesota. I know if you use usps they go by weight and not size to a certain extent. I have shipped many things slightly larger than a front fender with no problems through them. Are the fenders cut? Its ok if the front fenders are cut but i need the sides of the fender where they cover the tank intact. thanks lmk, Noah

Well i was thinking around the lines of this for a starting point.... pilot: 27.5 or my stock 25 main: 320 needle: middle (3rd) this is for 1450ft elevation, 30-40 degrees out. mods are: fmf gold pipes, 28mm carbs, single cone k&N filter without lid opinions??

I just picked a 96' banshee last night and would like to know a good starting point for my jetting. It has fmf pipes, k&n filter with lid on, and is bored .030 over. As far as i know it has stock timing and conmpression. I asked the owner if he remembered what he was running for jetting and said that he thinks he is running a 270 main jet and he couldnt rember what pilot he was running. He said it ran great in the summer when he ran it last. Well i got it home and seems extremely rich of idle when reving it slighly(i havnt ridden it yet). I will try changing the plugs and see if that helps.... Any suggetions? I will be riding mostly trails and a little bit of ditches etc.. Elevation is 1450ft, temp is 40-50 degrees. thanks for helping a newbie!
