Ok, getting ready to make my first trip to Glamis with my new (06) banshee. I only have 2 tanks of fule through it at 35:1. What shoul I run when I get to the dunes? I am very new to the 2 stroke world so any input will be nice. I was told by the place i bought it from to run 40:1 but that was at town and country in arizona and I would not trust them as far as I can throw them. Joe

Just got back from a friends shop, and we powdercoated my new ITP baja wheels candy red. They look awesome, cant wait till i get them mounted tomorrow. We spent a little extra time taping up the outside ring to preserve the aluminum color, but once they were done i feel the time was worth it.

Possesion is 9/10th, you probably have heard that in the past. You will have to go to court and let them sort it out. Not sure if a police report will work since he did not steal it. Do you have proof he gave you $500? Do you have any paperwork stating he was to pay $3000? If this guy wants to be an ass he can go to court and say you guys agreed on $500. So if you have no proof of a sale you might be SOL. Now on the other hand, just go get it. You know where he lives, go repo it.

took it out today and put 2 tanks fo fuel through it. It runs much better. I am also more comforatable with the kick of the power band. As for upgrade I have a fortune in parts ordered. FMF pipes, jets. 2+1 front arms, +4 rear arm, Sand stars, ITP bajas. Let me tell you the wife is thrilled. Thanks for the advice Joe

It is a brand new bike. The dealer is telling me it is normal, but I fell like I am reving it up to drag race and feathering the clutch just to get it moving.

Hey I have been going to the dunes for several years now and have had all kinds of toys. I started with a POS VW home built rail, moved to a LTZ400, then a Busa Powered sand car. I have always seen the banshees flying around so I figured the next toy would be one. So I got the 06 SE in yellow. I am used to riding a 4 stroke so the 2s are a new animal. What do I need to do to break the banshee in? Also i have to rev it up into the powerband before it will even start to move, is that normal? I test rode a banshee about a year ago and I dont remember winding it out to get it to move. Is that normal with the fuel being mixed rich for the breakin? Thanks joe
