I just picked up a 2002 Banshee, and rode it at Glamis this past weekend. It had zero bottom end, but pulled fairly hard on the top end. Throttle response is crisp and clean sitting still, and it has the idle kit installed. The bike has a set of chrome pipes w/aluminum silencers on it, but I can't find a name on them. The only thing I saw was "SCP" on the silencer mounting tabs. It also has the TORS kit removed and a set of K&N's w/Outerwears hanging on the back of the carbs. I also own a 2005 YFZ450, and I know the Banshee won't have torque like this bike, but it still seems it should be running better. Even though the top end pulled strong, most hills had to be taken in second gear to stay in the power band (otherwise it would bog down and lose power), and I think it should handle third gear just fine. I pulled the jets and found: 25 pilots, stock needles in the middle position, and 320 mains. Does anyone have any thoughts on this jetting combo, or can you give a better solution. Thanks.
