hey guys do you think that if i packed my silencers up really tight it would quiet them down? not much just to be leagal for the dunes.. im just throwing ideas out there.or diff packing? im using insulation right now,

where do you recommend getting the 1000's from? they sell them in singles? im looking into a reclutch soon.

so how do those pass and not with out? i did the spark scrrens with stickersso im good there but now for the DB down

thats the only thing i can do.. damn, they are so ugly too, the spark arrestors dont quiet it down at all does it?

how do you drag piped shees get in under the rating, you are loud out there. i have t-5s and i might have to go to stock silencers for the weekend? that would suck, anything i can do to tone them down for a good price?

still got those stock silencers?

ok thanks, im was going to grab a stocker, but i wasnt sure if it would be safe to run it for a couple easy rides. it was hitting just a bit b4 and now with two gaskets its perfect., so they make thicker base gaskets? wouldnt that be fine too? yeah he took off to much off. just a bit. whats the max that should be taken off?

hey guys im redoing my whole shee, paint frame and motor. i got my head milled like i have b4 but this one he took off allll the lip. i put it together and i heard the pistons hitting the head (rolled it over by hand) but not very much. so i took another head gasket(new one) i had laying around and put in there with the other one, now the clearance is perfect, has anybody done this,

hey all, i wet sanded my shee plastics down with 1000 grit and then shot with blue krylon plastic paint. i love it and it looks great. my plastics were all messed up too. but i love the way it turned out and all the riding i do is trails, mud, so i personally would say it is reliable.ive bent the fenders and they havent chipped or spidered at all. once you put stickers on it it'll look great. :biggrin: thats just my $.02

does anyone know how loud your bike can be to still make it up onto silve lake dunes,? what is the DBs. i have t-5s and they are loud, just wondering if theyll pass, oh i did the spark arrestor screen already too.

alright thanks, its the little screw in the back of the carbs, (stockers) not the idle screws on the side but the little brass ones. i knew youd answer it some time , air pilot jet is that right, im looking up exploded views of it

does anyone know what the stock setting for the needle jet is. i amagine thats the screw that is really tiny and adjusts your low end, im trying to get mine back to stock.. its all jacked up.. thanks

alright i went down and just gotthe k&n stuff, i know them so they cut mea deal for 9$, not too bad damn bansh-eman i love your quad, i dont do much sand, mostly trails but im doing sand this season

i have the uni pods. w/outerwares, no k&n, thats why i wsnt sure of oil for filter, bc its not a k&n.
