Its that time of year again for all of us midwestern folk to come out of hibernation(did I spell that right?) and make our journeys down to the sand box of Oklahoma! I thought I would give all of you law abiding banshee riders the heads up:
Last summer me and my buddies were down in July and my dip shit friends were arressted and had their quads impounded for riding out of bounds. They rode over the barbed wire fence where the sand had drifted over the barbed wire for about 60 feet. None the less the knew they were in an area that they shouldnt be they were arressted and taken into Alva(a small town about 30 miles north of Waynoka) and had to be bailed out of the clink. It cost $150 per person to bail and $300 in fines to resolve the issues. Secondly, one of my employees went down this past weekend and was pulled over in camp for having to dim of lights on the front of his quad coming back from the showers. It was a $150 ticket for defective equiptment in the campground. I believe he got the ticket for smarting off to the Ranger. However, they told him they are going to be cracking down on the behavior in the campground and to warn his "buddies". I have always had a good time with and without my kids but if the Park Rangers have nothing better to do than stop somebody with dim lights its gone be a long summer! GOOD LUCK and heads up!
