  4. :: ok, i had a add earlier but did not get a lot of hits or answers so here it goes again, i will go more indepth bought in 2000 rode for about 3 months, joined the army, set for a yr while deployed, came home blew it up, set for another 2 yrs in the barn, deployed again, picked it up, brought it home and tore it to pieces. sent of motor, had it bored over 20, ported and polished, new heads changed out jets, were stock at 200, put in 280's out of jet kit that i got from the shop, which came with 240, 280, 340 put in new needles, set a 4 slots down from the top, elevation here i do not know, i live in Tennessee and ride here and in kentucky changed to twist throtle, it kind of sticks on me at times, which is a problem when i race tried to sync the carbs with eye site, we think it is good, maybe not????????????? new FMF exhaust boost bootle switched the air breether hose from stock to about a 3.5 inch hose so it will get more air, turned out the air screws on the carbs to 1.5 out?????????????????????? NOW I TOOK IT OUT YESTERDAY AND I FOWLED ABOUT 12 PLUGS, IT WOULD RUN GREAT WITH ALL THE POWER IN THE WORLD, GREAT TOP END, BUT THEN IT WOULD BOG DOWN AND FOWL OUT PLUGS AND THE WORST TIMES, WE WOULD CHANGE THEM OUT, AND IT WOULD RUN GREAT AGAIN FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES AND DO IT ALL AGAIN. I MIX MY GAS AT 34:1 IF ANYBODY HAS GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS OR ISEAS PLEASE LET ME KNOW, WE ARE TEARING IT DOWN TOMMOROW AND I NEED HELP THANKS JAMES YOUNG FROM TENNESSEE
  5. The banshee comes stock with a size of 200 jets, we bought a jet kit kit from the 4-wheller shop and it came with 240's. 280's, and 340's, we thought that it would be ok to go with the 280's, we also eye balled the sync on the carbs when we put it back together, then like i said earlier we put the bigger breather hose on, it ran like a striped ass ape at first, we also put the air screws on the carbs at 1.5 out, but we took it out yesterday and we fowled like 12 plugs all day, it was pissing me off because it would run great for about 15 mintues then it would bog down and fowl plugs, so if you got the answer let me know, because we are breaking it down tommorow, to try to tune it up right, we also set the needles at 4 slots down, i do not know the elevation in Tennessee and kentucky because that is where i ride, so maybe that might be it as well
  6. its a stoke air filter, but the 1 inch hose that comes out of the box top, we took it off and put a 3 .5 inch hose on it, i do not understand what you mean by mods and the main, i am a dumbass when it comes to the engine, i can ride it jump it and race it like a champ, i am trying to learn though
  7. me and my buddy broke down my banshee, bored it over by 20, rejeted it, got a bigger air intake, added twist throtle, and now i keep fowling plugs, what is wrong
