  1. I have a bunch of parts that I need to sell. These parts are a mixture of parts taken from the stock bike that I tore down to turn into a drag bike and parts that I've had in storage for quite a while. Most of these parts are for 04/05 Honda TRX450R's but some will work on many different quads. First and foremost - the prices do NOT include shipping and do NOT include PP fees. Buyer will cover the PP fees or can gift the payment to save the hastle. Shipping will be anywhere from $2 to $95 depending on the part's size and weight. The prices listed are for local pickup only...which is preferred for the larger/heavier items. I like to take a lot of pictures of items I put up for sale so there are no surprises for buyers. I have a total of 194 pictures for the items below; that's way too many to post in a thread...so I just uploaded them all to a photobucket gallery. See the link below for all the pictures. 2. First pair of Ohtsu's are sold...Only pair left are the middle set of Ohtsu's!
  3. Sorry guys, Pro Wedges are SOLD; 501's are still available as of right now.
  4. I have my Dad and I's dirt/sand drag tires from this year up for sale. These tires are pretty hard to find for a decent price and work great for all kinds of dirt drag racing, hill climbs, and more. Prices are for local pick-up only (Capon Bridge, WV or Stephens City, VA). Shipping and PP fees will be approximately $30-$40 for each set if you need them shipped. No sets include wheels. First pair are Ohtsu M/R 501 rear tires. They are a radial that measure 20x10-9. These have a lot of tread left on them - approximately 90-95% tread life I would estimate. Price on these is: $125 OBO Second pair are another set of Ohtsu M/R 501 rear tires. They are a radial that measure 20x10-9. These have a good bit of tread left on them - approximately 80-85% tread life I would estimate. They don't have quite as much life left as the set above and the price will reflect that. Price on these is: $115 OBO Third pair are a set of Pro Wedge II rear tires. They are a radial that measure 22x11-8. These have a good bit of tread left on them - approximately 75% tread life I would estimate. Price on these is: $110 OBO Why are these tires for sale? Cause we have too many sets! (And this picture doesn't include the 12 tires that are on the 3 TRX's we have)
  5. I'm looking to pick up a couple different sets of rear tires to try out. These suckers are too expensive to buy brand new, some I'm trying to find some nice used sets for a more reasonable price. Looking for ANY of the following sets of rear tires (sorted most desirable first): - 21x12x8 Sand Tires Unlimited (STU) PADLA BRAT - must be Comp Cut - looking for 9 paddle version only - 21x12x8 or 22x11x8 Skat Trak TERRAIN TRAK - prefer SLS but will settle for bead to bead buff - looking for anything from 6 to 14 paddle - 22x11x8 Skat Trak HAULERS - must be SLS/Triple Buff - looking for anything from 7 to 12 paddle - 22x11x8 Skat Trak EXTREMES - must be SLS/Triple Buff - looking for anything from 6 to 12 paddle - 21x12x8 or 22x11x8 Skat Trak DESERT STORM - prefer SLS but will settle for bead to bead buff - looking for anything from 6 to 14 paddle Mainly looking for the tires only, but I'm definitely still interested in tire/wheel combo's since I know a lot of guys don't like to split wheels/tires up. However, the only wheels I'm really looking for a tire to come with are 8x8 or 8x7 Douglas blue labels (.125 aluminum). Prefer the wheels to have a Honda 4/110 bolt pattern - but I should be able to drill for that pattern as long as there is room on the rim. If the wheels are drag cut, I gotta have them with a 4/110 Honda bolt pattern. Also - I almost always like to see pictures before making a $200 - $500 purchase. Let me know what you have. Post here, PM me, or text 54zero-8four7-247zero.
  6. I'm not well-versed in the area of drag wheels or tire sizes so I'm hoping a few members with some experience can help me out. Douglas .125 aluminum blue label REAR wheels...if one is drag cut - what is the approximate weight savings over a non drag cut blue label? For those that have purchased drag cut wheels before - is Sand Toys the best place to purchase? Do the Sand Toys wheels come with valve stems installed? And lastly - is there any reason NOT to run a 21x12-8 (Padla Brat) or a 22x11-8 (Pro Wedge) on an 8x7 rim vs. an 8x8 rim? I'm wanting to go with an 8x7 rim size to try and save even more weight but I'm a little concerned that it might not be wide enough for the tires in question?

  10. About: Up for sale is my red 2004 Yamaha YZFR1 street bike. Before you keep reading, know that this bike was dropped in a parking lot at ~5mph in early 2010. Everything that was even just slightly scratched was replaced with brand new OEM parts installed professionally by Valley Cycle center in Winchester, VA by the rider’s insurance. I have copies of the entire bill for the work that will go with the bike. That said, this is a beautiful and well maintained bike that runs and rides excellent. It has 12,766 miles on it and has never been raced, tracked, or abused…it’s pretty much a sport bike that has led the life of a Honda Rebel cruiser. It has always been garage kept. It has just a few small tasteful appearance modifications that are listed below; other than that, it is completely stock and unmolested. The oil has been changed religiously with Amsoil MCF 10W-40 fully synthetic oil. The bike also has a practically brand new rear tire with just a few short rides on it and the front tire still has a lot of life left. The bike does not have a scratch on it and really is flawless. There are absolutely no problems mechanically or cosmetically. I’m the second owner and have the title in hand. If you have any questions, just ask. Call or text: 54zero-84seven-247zero. Location I’m located in Capon Bridge, WV which is a small town 15 miles west of Winchester, VA. It is easy driving distance from Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC; and most everywhere in MD, Northern VA, and South Eastern PA. Reason For Selling/Price: The only reason I’m selling is because I don’t ride this enough to keep it. I also have a TRX450R sport quad and selling this will help to raise funds to buy another TRX450R quad that I plan on building up. Asking $5200. Cash only, no joy rides. Mod list for the 2004 Yamaha R1 VIN: JYARN13E14A007167 - Clear Alternatives integrated LED tail light with turn signals - Greggs Custom license plate bracket - New Dunlop Sportmax rear tire (matching Dunlop Sportmax front tire) stock size - I also have a few oil filters and quarts of oil that will go with it High definition video: Factory Specs: For anyone that isn’t familiar with the 2004 R1, I figured I would outline a few of the standard features: • Liquid-cooled, 20 valve, DOHC, inline 4-cylinder engine • 6-speed transmission • Fuel Injection • Under seat twin exhaust system. • Ram air intake • 380lb. dry weight • 180hp at the crank • 179mph top speed • 0-60mph in 3.04 seconds, 0-100mph in 5.42 seconds, ¼ mile 9.90 seconds @ 144.98mph (Motorcycle Consumer News magazine) • Braking 60-0 117 feet Pics:
  11. About: Up for sale is my red 2007 Honda CRF450R dirt bike. This is a beautiful and well maintained bike that runs and rides excellent. It has always been garage kept. It has a few tasteful modifications, mainly suspension, driveline, and protection mods that are listed below. Other than a Twin Air foam air filter, the engine is completely stock. The engine and transmission oil have been changed religiously with Rotella T 15W-40 (white bottle), the air filter is always cleaned and well oiled, and the valves were checked just a few weeks ago. The intake valves are at 1.80mm and 1.75mm, and the exhaust valves are at 2.25mm (both) shims with clearances in spec. I figured it would be nice to know that the valves have plenty of life left in them when you’re buying a used CRF. The suspension was completely revalved/sprung/sealed less than 6 months ago by Fastmann Racing in PA. All bearings are in great shape; brake pads, chain and sprockets, etc. are well within spec with a lot of life left. The bike also has brand new tires with just a few short rides on them. Other than that…there’s not much more to say about it…starts great, idles great, doesn’t smoke or knock and has gobs of power everywhere in the RPM range…just an all-around great low-hour bike. I also have a TRX450R sport quad and selling this will help to raise funds to buy another TRX450R quad that I plan on building up. Asking $2900 OBO. Cash only, no joy rides. Mod list for the 2007 Honda CRF450R VIN: JH2PE05327M505485 - FastMann Racing front and rear suspension springs, seals, and revalve for ~200 lb. class B/C MX rider - Works Connection radiator braces - Works Connection skid plate - Blue CV4 radiator hoses - D.I.D Gold 520 MX chain with 13/50 gearing - Light Speed carbon fiber rear caliper and rotor guards - Twin Air foam air filter - Brand new Pirelli Scorpion tires front and rear I also have the following spare parts, which I will sell for an additional $100: - Brand new 2007 Honda CRF450R complete service manual - Brand new, never used Sunstar steel sprockets for stock gearing (13/48) - Brand new, never used Sunstar 520HDN o-ring chain - Brand new, never used Fastaway front sprocket spacer (for use with o-ring chains) Factory Specs: For anyone that isn’t familiar with the 2007 CRF450R, I figured I would outline a few of the standard features: • New larger 41mm Keihin FCR carburetor. A larger carburetor for increased top-end power, up from 40mm to 41mm, plus a new accelerator pump actuation system for quicker response. • Smaller exhaust valves, from 31mm in 2006 to 30mm, and reshaped exhaust and intake ports for enhanced low-end/midrange power. • New ignition map using an 8-bit digital CPU produces immediate data calculation and extremely accurate ignition for maximum performance to match changes to carburetor and cylinder head. • New clutch basket for increased durability; more silicon content now makes the basket harder and stronger • New exhaust system placement improves mass-centralization. • Powerful engine churns out 55hp at 9000 rpm and 37 lb./ft. of torque at 6500 rpm. • Forged 12.0:1 compression slipper piston is more than 4.5 ounces lighter than a conventional design, revving quickly while maintaining excellent cylinder sealing and high-rpm power. • Nikasil cylinder lining is lightweight and provides cooler and quieter operation for extended engine life. • Twin-sump lubrication system separates the oil supply for the crankshaft, piston and valve train from the clutch and transmission. This ensures a cool supply of oil to the clutch, eliminates clutch, and transmission material contamination to the engine oil and reduces the amount of circulating oil and the required size of the oil pump. • Narrow dual radiators provide significantly more surface area and more effective heat dissipation. • Fourth-generation twin-spar aluminum frame. Forged-aluminum steering head and tapered downtube section are designed to optimize frame rigidity. • Semi-double-cradle frame design features a single, large-diameter tapered downtube. Two rugged box-section rails attach to the base of the downtube and support the engine. Pics:
  12. I'm trying to create a tech article for my web site on FCR carburetors. I'm looking to create a large table that everyone can look at to see which bike/ATV and what year came with what size FCR carburetor. For example, you could look up what year CRF(2002-?) and what size CRF (150, 250, 450, etc.) came with what size FCR carburetor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to specify something like: (not sure if these are correct, just guesses) 2002-2005 Honda CRF450R/X - 40mm 2006-2007 Honda CRF450R/X - 41mm 2003-2004 Honda CRF250R - 37mm Again, any help in compiling a comprehensive list would be great. If you know of any other dirt bikes or ATV's that came with an FCR carburetor as OEM hard ware...please post that up as well...Yamaha, KTM, Suzuki, Honda, etc...any ATV or dirt bike. ...I'm going to try and post this topic on several dirt bike and ATV forums to try and compile a good list. I'm looking for pretty much every manufacturer, every year, and every model that came with a side draft/horizontal sytle FCR (not down draft styles). Thanks for any help!
  13. Top speed is based more upon gearing rather than engine mods. Of course, you need an engine that will actually pull itself to that top speed. Now quickness...thats where its at . How fast can you get to 75mph....
  14. Z's are a great little trail bike. Not the fastest, but definitely not the slowest. Treat her well, and she won't fall apart on ya .

  16. What are the rest of you guys using as far as foam filter oil? I'm currently using Spectro SX Super Tacky Foam Filter Oil...Its a pain to clean, but it seems to do a great job of stopping crap from getting into the intake.
  17. I know this isn't a Honda site...but I figure'd I'd give this a shot . Up for sale is a Silver HMF Full Exhaust System. This exhaust system is for 2004/2005 Honda TRX450R's. Selling because I went to the DASA system. This has been a great pipe for me. I bought it used, with only 1-2 hours on it. I have put no more than 40 hours on the pipe. It is in very good shape with normal wear and tear. It has no dents in the head pipe or silencer. The head pipe mounting bracket is curved a bit from over tightening, but it will mount up and seal excellent. This does not effect it at all...It has been tested with no leaking problems . With my current modifications, this pipe pulled 46.59 hp and 31.84 tq on the dyno. What you get: Silver HMF Silencer HMF Headpipe Stock heat shield installed on the headpipe Spark Arrestor insert I have excellent eBay and PBNation feedback (links below): eBay: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...ame=STRK:ME:UFS PBNation: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?s=&...threadid=262765 I prefer Paypal or Money Orders for payment.
