  7. Interested in your pipes, any rust or dings?? How much shipping to southern Indiana? thanks
  8. If you havent milled your head yet and if your wallet allows it, try the cool head for under 200 bucks. 21cc domes would be ideal. Dont' overdue it like me w/ 19s on stock motor.
  9. I just got done riding it again to make sure. Full throttle I'm getting a little bog about mid-range, probably when i shift to 4th gear. but dont get me wrong i feel much improvement, but i can tell it's not 100%. So should i try the toomeys before changing out reeds, or just go ahead and run 21s. I probably am overdoing it, prob too much compression right now. But lesson learned. Thanks for your input, P.s. Anyone out there w/ a set of t5s they are wanting to sell. ???
  10. Been shopping around the internet for Carbs and intakes for my banshee(description below) Anybody have any suggestions?? This is my first banshee and not sure what to do because there are so many different setups. I dont want to sacrifice much low end power. I have been reading everyones input on jetting and elevation and how much this really effects perfomance. I live in southern Indiana, not sure of elevation but it's prob not too much above sea level. How will i know when i order my carbs if theyll be set up for my elevation. Any suggestions about this matter and if anyone has any tips or trics to make my shee faster and run better i would appreciate it. THANKS 2003 Banshee std bore cool head w/ 19ccs (run unical) stock carbs/intake but guy who sold it to me said it was jetted but not sure what size or anything. boost bottle v-force 3 reeds k&n with stock airbox/lid FMF pipes (looking at buying t5s or CPIs--hope to tell a difference)
  11. I am using Unical race fuel, not sure what octane it is but it's up there---high as u can get around here. I dont know.....I figured it would almost get rid of the take-off hesitation and i still have some. I have FMF Gold series on there, should i change them out, i've been looking at CPIs,or Toomeys, Also do reed spacer make much difference??? Thanks
  12. I need some help folks. Recently purchased my first banshee Figuring i'd do some stuff to make more performance I bought new Vforce 3 reeds. after pulling out what i thought was stock reeds i noticed they were Boysden and also had spacer on it. They look like almost new. Everyone told me to go on and put on the vf3s so i did. But i couldnt reuse the spacers w/ them because they would not fit. Now heres my problem. The instructions said cut the rubber fins on the manifold flush so the new reeds would fit in. I did and installed them as well as a cool head w/ 19cc domes. Now my banshee seems like it WANTS to unleash more but something is holding it back. I dont know if i disturbed the flow by cutting the rubbers in the manifolds or if it is because i swiched to vf3s w/ no spacer.....Should i have just stuck w/ the Boyseden's??? Do i need new manifolds now? i know if i go back w/ the others i'll have to buy new ones because of cutting the rubber fins. Please help me before i go to local Yamaha shop. Also do you think 19cc domes was ok upgrage???/ Thanks for your time!! Stock motor except for cool head and 19cc domes, Fmf Fattys, boost bottle, k&n,was told it is jetted but not sure size or anything.
