  1. I'm with loco, I'd go for the 450 before the craptor any day. If you are used to the banshee you will like the power of the 450. Its light, nimble, easy to move on, has nice suspension and its quick. Lots of upgrades out there for the 450, and its got a carb so you can do your own jetting. I'm sorry, but I just don't trust the EFI bullshit on quads yet. A sensor or wire goes bad somewhere and your fucked. I prefer to know how much fuel I'm dumping in on my own and don't trust a little computer to do it for me. Woopdy doo, it adjusts for elevation, it takes me 5min to toss in a bigger main jet with the carbs/setup I have. If you run powerjets there is no need to even change mains unless you're doing a massive elevation change.

I'd go with the 450 simply for the powerband it has. Its similar to the banshee and there is already a HUGE aftermarket of trusted parts for the 450's.

i agree the 450 likes to be revved more. whats a powerjet?

  2. If you ran it very long, with it being rich, you could have had excess unburnt fuel, and oil get into your silencer packing, and pipes. If it's jetted right now, it's probably some of the excess fuel, and oil burning out of the silencer packing, and pipes. If it bothers you, just repack the silencers, but it will still smoke a little more than usual, until the crud gets burnt out of the pipes.

it started going away once i got riding it like 5-10 mins after.

  3. ok i haven't ridding it for a month because i didnt have time to jet it right. it was running rich on my 30mm okos s o i drop the main 1 size and adjusted the needle. but now it seems to have alot of smoke coming out the silencers. the bike is jetted correctly for the most part. you think it could have bad rings or something? It runs great though
