I've been trying to figure this out, and I'm going nuts. My throttle seems to stick when engaging the throttle at low rpms. If you smack the throttle, it runs like a champ. At idle, if you just push the throttle a little bit it starts reving higher( sticks there) If it's idleing and you smack the throttle, it goes up, and back down to idle. I thought maybe it was the cable(replaced), I dsconnected the thumb throttle( not it ) The cable isn't hanging up. I went back to the stock carbs, and the problem went away. Thats why I figure it must be something with the carbs.
if I take the air filter off, and look at the slides, I can see they are working properly, but if you hit the throttle, just a little they both go up but not back down. They only go back down if you smack the throttle hard. Only sticks with throttle in , just a little. Went up and down with the needle, I tryed polishing the slides, and they seem to work fine. The bad part is, that it really runs great. No problems at the top, or bottom. jetting is spot on.
Unless I'm missing the answer, I'm thinking maybe different needles, or I don't know.
ANy info would be great.
