    wow?

injurie that the biker recieved was a slightly fractured thumb, after moving 20ft through the air, the damage on the bike was hardly bent rim. The incident occured due to the fact the bastard on the bike and his brother were taking up the whole dirt road so when i pulled out and started cruising and just noticed him i swerved, he also swerved... sadly in the same direction and therefor causing a very big crash. my injuries were from his body acting as a projectile

  10. i was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me what to set jet, and airscews to? i currently have 190 mains, fourth position on needle, stock pilot jet, screws set to 2 turns out. Current mods are: K&N filter, removed snorkel, stock filter case
  11. what should i set my timing plate to for best results? +4?
  12. My email is: [email protected] my addy is: **eddie** thanks for the quick response
  13. id like to adjust my timing plate and have absolutely no idea how to do it, love to learn how, love my shee, any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated
  14. Thanks for the quick response everyone, i will set the airscrews as following, and remove the TORS system to see if that solves the problem and will repost with the results.
  15. it doesnt seem to stick now or idle irraticaly since i have resync'd it to near perfection, although one side does seem richer than the other... i believe it is my airpilot screw, if anyone could give me an idea of what to set it to that would be great
  16. hi i was wondering if anyone could tell me what the hell is going on with my shee. The only mods on it are removed snorkel, K&N filter, clip on needle jet changed to fourth position, #190 main, stock air pilot needle, i have synchronized the carbs, but need to know what to set my air pilot screw to, my elevation is 2191 feet, current temp is 0-20 degrees celsius. The throttle is sticking, and it is idling irratically when i take the choke off if at all, any help would be greatly appreciated im stuck
  17. Yes that was the problem thank you very much, it seems though that i cant seem to fine tune it properly, i followed some of the synchronizing instructions and set the idle and the cable tightness, but when i throttle now from idle - 1/4 it seems to stick and wont idle properly i was wondering if someone could tell how what to set the pilot screw to, i have a 190 main, and the needle clip is set to the fourth notch down, so fairly rich. everything else is stock other than a K&N filter i recently added, oh and lets not forget that the retard who sold it to me forgot to give me the snorkel so its missing that as well. If there is anything else that i should be reporting about my quad that would help with pin pointing this problem please ask, thanks again.
  18. hey thanks for the tip on the valve, it turns out one of the valves did have the cable holder in the wrong way, although after correcting it did not solve the problem, the engine still seems to be running richer on the left side and the right seems to be sputtering as if it is not drawing any fuel in. I have had to prime both sides manualy is this normal?
  19. only mods i have added would be a K&N filter, orignal pipes, orignal main jet pilots, the reason i had decided to change needle position was because of the extreme hesitation i was recieving at 2/4 - 4/4 throttle, it was running alrite (other than the idle being slightly low for the temperature), the current temp is averaging around 2 - 8 degrees celcius, elevation im not quite sure of, i live in alberta, canada if that helps... and thank you for the reassurance its nice to know i can get help without having to pay big dollars, and learn at the same time thank you i will go take a look at that right now and post as soon as i correct/confirm its positioning
  20. Hello, i've recently purchased a used 2000 banshee. after doing a little maintanence on it i decided to start tuning, although i am completely knew to the whole quad let alone dual carb engines, i attempted to rejet it. after taking my quad quite apart and learning the main is not a needle but a part you must purchase to change, i decided to only change the needle setting. so after setting the needle to the second clip, and having a few issues with figuring out how the valves fit back in place i started to reassemble (was this a bad idea?). after reassembling what i needed to have it run, it wouldnt start, i checked all the fuel lines and spark plugs, i decided to manualy prime it. This happened to work but now the idle is running very radicaly, the left exhaust is pouring out thick smoke in a steady stream while the right side is running as it should be in a regular tinny, two stroke way, and after playing with the idle screws and air pilot screws not much has changed. Real new to this stuff any help at all would be appreciated, id love to learn to troubleshoot myself but the instruction manual is how can you say, vague?
