Yeah, I was kinda in the same exact senario the other day at my cousins. He was riding his yz125 w/fmf pipe and I was riding his shee with fmf sst pipes. He kicked from a slow roll in first and he pulled me pretty good. Granted I wasnt really used to riding his shee and I weight probably about a good 100lbs more than him. So If I was guess he'd pull you about a bike or so granted both of you guys a good riders. Dont quote me on that though.

Thanks alot guys for all the input. I know I looked up some kind of chart or something and it said that to register it to your name you have to have a title(which I dont really care about that part). Like I said, I could care less if I got the title or not really. But I just dont want to go buying a quad, then end up getting it taken from me or repoed or even worse end up in court or something. I'm not sure if its stolen or not, I just kinda want to make sure. The frame is not P/C'd either. And as far as my friend, I'm sure he was not aware wether it was stolen or not. I may talk to my friend a little more about it and see what he says. I havent really done much talking to him yet, just a simple question if its got a title and he said it didnt have one when he bought it. I'll try to talk to him this evening and see what he's got to say. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks again!

Haha, I'll keep that in mind. But have you ever been pulled over with your fourwheeler in your truck/trailer. Or stopped while your riding by a ranger or whatever. I'm just afraid that even if I do have a Bill of Sale that I'll get some a$$hole cop that just chooses he wants to be a d**k that day or something and not settle for that. And dont you have to know(which I dont) the original owner/possesor of the title to be able to have a legit BOS?

Yeah, thats really the only thing I'm worried about is if I get pulled over with it in my truck or get stopped while riding or something. I will be buying it with cash...so no problem dealing with a loan. The deal is a heck of one....its a 99, newly rebuilt bottom end(crank, rod, bearings), and a fresh top end, newer orange plastic, freshly painted blue frame, pc pipes. And the kicker is it comes with an entire other parts quad with a motor....all for 2500. But he hasnt got titles for either. So what im thinking is I may try to find a "legal" frame and swap everything. Then I could sell parts off the parts quad(cuz i'll probably not need them really) and re-imburse myself for a "legal" frame. Then I could take the frames and dump them...cuz i wouldnt want to try to sell them and get in the middle of someone else buying them or whatever. What does this sound like? How hard/long would it be to swap everything to another bare frame? Its a heck of a deal so I kinda hate to pass it up.

Well, as far as just not having a title myself I'm not really worried about that. But I wouldnt want to run into problems for any reason while I have it. Also this guy is a friend of mine so I really wouldnt want to bring any unwanted attn. to him having it or anything. I wouldnt want him to get into any trouble or have them come get his quad or anything. I'm just mainly wondering if you think I would run into any problems. I mean like if say for any reason I got stopped by a cop/ranger and they asked me like if I had a title or anything...do they do that?

I was just wondering what you guys thought about buying a quad without a title? I know a guy thats got a killer deal on a shee that I am wanting. I know the guy personally and I know he wouldnt have stolen the bike...but I dont know exactly where it came from before him. He's had the bike probably a year almost and he's just now going through it and rebuilding everything. He's having to sell it cuz he's only 20 and he's getting married here soon and needs the money. I was just wondering what you guys thought about this....I mean if I bought it would I really have anything to worry about? Although I dont know if the previous owners couldve just lost the title to it ya know. I also live in a little town which I wouldnt think i'd have to worry about it, but just curious if you guys thought I may run into any kind of problems or anything. I know I wont be able to finance it...but i'm working on that through my bank right now...so i'll practically be buying it with cash. So let me know what you guys think.

Hi guys, I am trying to get rid of my 05' blaster so's i can get me a shee I've already got one lined up to buy, I just gotta find a buyer for my blasty. So I was just wondering where you guys usually see/look the most for 4-sale quads? So far I've got it on craigslist.org, Here, E2S, Project Blaster, and another Truck forum I go to. I would rather not have to deal with/pay Ebay. I can hear that shee callin' my name so I need to get rid of this thing asap(without completly loosing my butt...lol). So let me know! Thanks! Well, Kinda off topic a little, and i dont know that much about the "details" of a engines and all that, but I've heard alot of people have been having alot of problems with these new 450's. Could be basically like any quad the "new bugs". Just thought i'd see what you guys thought about this too.

I would also like to know this if anyone knows of anywhere. I'm in East TN. Duning looks like so much fun.

Yeah, I like the blaster, I just feel more comfortable and "stable" on a banshee. Alot of times on the trails(which is all I ride really) I feel like I'm almost gonna flip over on some of the simplest stuff on the blaster. But on my cuz's banshee that I rode...its got alot wider/longer base and feels more stable. It is definetly a whole different beast to handle than my blaster...after a few hours I was wore out holding on and controlling it...lol. But thats just because i'm used to that blaster I guess. I can get used to controlling it and everything. But yeah, I just posted my blaster and pics in the For Sale Section, so if anyone is interested, you can take a look. Thanks alot for the input!
