i have a 99 banshee with t5 kit, tors removal kit, asr+3, gforce axle, with brandnew holeshots with 3 rides. has yfz front shocks. yeah i cant turn them all the way left or all the way right...kinda like the problems bairdy13 was having

i recently installed asr +3 and yfz shocks...everything went ok i still need to adjust the shocks. but when the wheels are compleetly off the ground the tireods hit making it so that i cant burry my steering either way. what negative affects will i have if i am jumping and riding mx. aslong as i can burry the wheel when its on the ground is that all that matters? i should probobly get banshee shocks or have my shock mounts moved i kno but i dont have the time or $$ to do this so please gimme ur 2cents! thanks ben

i am 150lbs i ride mostly mx and i have +3 a arms on stock yfz shocks...i was wondering wat i should set my preload, rebound and compression too? right now it seems that the shocks dont want to spring back up as fast as it seems they should? if i lift the bike off the ground and drop it, the a arms stay pretty much as far in as they can get instead of going back to where they were b4 when i sit on it...hopefully it makes sense and someone can help me out. thanks. well i guess i'll be happy if i can get it that way... i suppose it doesnt matter what it does when the tires are off the ground the front tires are useless anyways?

i have it so the wheels are toed in at the top, and i have it so that the wheels are "toed" in at the front just a hair. and you are saying that the tierod ends are hitting the top a arm mount? and the other hit the frame tabs for the a arm?

it all looks fine off the ground. i dont think its hitting anything maybe its just me? i only have the left side tierod on b/c my right inner tierod got bent....so i gotta wait for that to come in b4 i finish it...i have it setup so it is straight with the back wheel and the camber is in about 5 degrees i would say. what was the problem with your tierods not working?

im about 80% done my asr +3 a arms and my yfz shocks setup...im on to the tierods and on the left side it doesnt seem like the tires wanna turn all the way left...could i have the tierod ends on the wrong side??? thanks. ben

yeah i was looking for a pair of works shocks but i paid 250 for the yfz and they are brand new pretty much...if i had found a DECENT looking pair of works for 250 i would have jumped on them. but i couldnt find them or dint have the money at the time. so i hope it works and if it doesnt i guess im either goin to return the a arms or get different shocks?
