  3. well as far as timing 7deg. comp 150 psi, all i do with the shee is some trails normal crusing but strictly drag, no dunes in this area. now the only problem is getting it to hook. im looking for some flat trackers 20/11/9 any brand let me know if you know some one. thanks for all your help.
  4. FINALLY got it right threw out those stock cyl and crank put in a 4 mil with cubs enough said :beer: now what carbs and diffrent exhaust
  5. was told to get a 35 or 40 piolt and a 420 or 440 jet what do you think right know have a 30 p/ and a 420 jet t5s are very hot thanks for your help

I DONT HAVE a pic or the plugs any more thrash but they were pinkish with some grey the packing was removed because 1 they told me the might be clouged since i bought them used and i was going to replace any way in fact orderd today.it pull good but just wont lanuch pavement, dirt spins the hell out of the tires,
  7. well ive moved the needle 2 the 4th clip same thing also forget the pipes get really hot they didnt before the porting i also put a 420 jet ,took all the packing outof the pipes no diff. i sprayed carb cleaner everywhere but all look good dont know . thinking of putting back the stock cyl. OH CUB WHERE ARE YOU. LOL. ::
  8. first i run it through the gears i shut it off and pull the plug
  9. the needle is a dyno jet needle set at the 5th groove and the temp is 90 deg the bog is trying to lanuch the bike the porting is drag poriting sorry also the idle screws are at 1.5 turns it just seems like a lot of jet but the plug tells all also the bike idles good wouldnt an air leak cause it not to idle correctly .its got good thrrotle response the bikes pulls hard but just wont launch.
  10. first i am at sea level ,390 mains ,30 pilots,40/1 mixture,and plug still reads lean, i cant get the it to lanch (pavement) it revs good put as soon as the clutch is out bogs for a sec then goes and pulls good . NEW MODS ARE noss head,21 cc domes,comp.150, ported stock cyl. boysen rad reeds, stock gearing 14/41. 22/11/9 tires. the plug looks a pinkish color.any help welcome . it does good on dirt but still reads lean.the exhaust tips on my t5s, are dry .possibly wrong mixture u think. :biggrin:
  11. :baseball_w00t: HOW MUCH DIFF SHOULD YOU SEE WHEN PORTING STOCK CYL. HOW WILL YOU KNOW IF IT WAS DONE RIGHT. I GOT SOME WORK DONE BY A LOCAL GUY HERE BUT REALLY DIDNT NOTICE MUCH .I CAN PUT SOME PICS OF MINE BUT ID THOUGHT I COULD SEE SOME FIRST. JUST NEED A BIT MORE KICK. WITH JUST BOLT ONS .   12. THE RING AROUND IS ABOUT A 1/8 OF AN INCH AT THE BOTTOM THE TOP LOOKS LIGHT LIGHT TAN COLOR, WHICH DO I GO BY IVE HEARD BOTH WAYS,DO YOU THINK TO RICH OR TO LEAN,ALSO I FOUND SOME BOYESEN RAD REEDS ARE THEY ANY GOOD, THINK THEY WOULD HELP. TIRED OF GETTING BEAT AT TOP END :baseball_wibble:

WE ARE ABOUT SAME SKILL BUT I DO WAEIGH 50 POUNDS MORE, I DID A PLUG CHOP AND THE PLUG IS ON LIGHTLIGHT TAN COLOR, SHOULD I PUT MORE MAIN, 320 MAYBE I HAVE 310 ON IT.WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE PILOT, ITS STILL STOCK. 1 MORE ? WHAT IS THE DIFF. V FORCE AND BOYESEN RAD REEDS, LOOKING TO BUT SOME REEDS DONT KNOW WHAT IS BETTER. IF ANY BODY HAS SOME YOU WANT TO GET RID OF LET ME K KNOW.
  14. I NOTICED THAT WITH THE 6 GROOVE NEEDLE IT STUMBLES IN THE HIGER GEARS.SO I PUT THE STOCKNEEDLE BACK. THIS IS THE DEAL MY BUDDY HAS AN 06 SHEE AND BOTH BIKES ARE SET UP THE SAME AS FAR AS I KNOW THE ONLY DIFFERNCE IS THAT HES GOT A 22/11/9 TIRE TO MY 20/11/9, THATS THE ONLY DIFF, WHEN WE TAKE OFF I JUMP OUT IN FRONT 1,2,3, THEN HE TAKES ME AT TOP END MY BIKES IS STILL PULLIN BUT JUST CANT MAINTAIN THE LEAD .WE DONT RUN MORE THAN 1/8 OF A MILE GIVE OR TAKE. IVE TRIED 330 MAINS BUT TO RICH.LIKE I SAID EARLYER IVE GOT 310 MAINS .IVE TRIED 280/300 AND TO ME ITS TO LEAN THE PLUGS LOOK REDISH OR A RUST COLOR ON THE ELECTRODE I SAY LEAN,I PUT THE STOCK GEARING BACK AND HE BEATS ME WORSE. DO U THINK MAYBE SOME REEDS MIGHT HELP .THANKS
  15. IVE BEEN TRYING TO TUNE MY SHEE BUT CANT SEEM TO GET IT RIGHT. JUST PUT SOME T5,MODFIED AIR LID,NEEDLE AT 4TH GROOVE,310MAINS,K&N,15TH SPROCKET& 40 IN REAR.SHEE JUST WONT PULL, AT TOP END,ABOUT 20FEET ABOVE SEA LEVEL.IM AT SOUTH TEXAS.LOWER RIO GRANDE VALLEY.ANY ADAVICE WELCOME.
