  1. after i put on my pro head with 21cc domes on i started to run 50/50 race gas, and now it doesnt seem to smoke too much at all. im still running maxima 32:1 just like i was before the head and it was smoking good then. i even went 2 positions richer on my needles and that didnt work

  2. alright i just got my 01 banshee not to long ago and have only had a chance to ride it once but did not get to do a plug chop. what do you guys think i should start with needle wise and main jet.

     

    +4 timing, t5's, bored .03 over, cool head 21cc domes (not sure of compression because i dont have it yet), porting (im not sure what kind or how much the guy i bought it from just knew he had it ported and thats it), boyesen pro reeds, stock carbs, k&n pods

    27.5 poilot

    toomey needles 4th position

    340 mains

     

    it seemed a little rich last time but that was with stock head not sure how much compression affects jetting.

  4. alright i just got a 2001 banshee with porting, advanced timing, pro series reeds, k&n pods, t5's, stock carbs and the cylinders are .030 over. at the moment im probly to fat to be getting on a banshee but i love two strokes. im wondering what i can do to her to help pull the load while im busy trying to drop the weight. i mainly ride the desert, hard packed and dunes. any ideas will be appreciated

  5. i drove all the way from san diego to look at that bike. not worth it to me. one of the pods is missing the outerware and theres sand all over it. they say the bike is jetted for 4000 ft but i know they were riding it at pismo. and is sounds like the right side crank bearing is out or it might be the water pump. if you want anymore info let me know.

  6. i did a search and didnt come up with much. has anyone ever used the pyramid reed valves from duncan racing or any other pyramid system. how did they perform and how do they compare to the v force 3 system. i have t5s with porting and polishing k&n pods timing advanced +4 stock carbs for now and boyesen pro series reeds. thanks for your input
