  1. i am going to be a little different than everybody else. i think either white, red or yellow plastics would look good. but yes black or silver plastics would look good to.

but i think the absolute best thing for you to do... would be get Kiel (theshee) to paint your plastics with the blue real flames. on either a white, silver or black bacground.

  2. i hadn't thought of that idea. i don't see why it wouldn't work. let me know if you do that and how well it works out because i may just pull my bolts out and do that as well. if i can get enough of a bite in my bolts. (i know that sounds really bad)

  3. that would be interesting to find out... the reason i say that is what if you got stuck climbing a hill and you started rolling backwards would it fire and run backwards? there by making your down hill run faster and more dangerous. it would be nice to know so that you make sure you don't do it by accident (then have a worse accident.

  4. uhh yeah here's 2.

    F.A.S.T. racing (site sponsor)

    Noss Machine (also site sponsor)

both of these guys are awesome guys to deal with. good prices as well.

by the way ALBA sucks. they are f-ing idiots. i have called them before and i knew more about their product line than they did. yeah and i supposedly have a bumper maye by them that is a "one of a kind" yet i have seen several of them. they are IDIOTS!!!

  5. how often are you planning on going to the dunes? if you are just going to go once or twice a year then i would just get a cheap set of paddles. why spend big money on paddles if you are never going to use them. now if you think that you are going to go to the dunes alot then you might want to look into a better paddle.

for jetting... i just call the manufacturer of the pipe (toomey, PC, fmf, etc.) and tell them what mods what elevation and they give me a ball-park jet. then you can go from there. also there are some jetting gurus on here that can get you pretty close.

stock silencers already have a spark arrestor.

  6. pro's

your front end sits 1 inch wider on each side.

    cons

it's harder on your ball joints, i've never had a problem though.

you also have to do something about your stems or they will hit your brake calipers.

    i say go for it.

  7. samc,

them hoses are cheap. i think i paid $1.09 a foot and i used just over 3 feet. get 3/4 inch hose. it will look like it ain't gonna fit but you heat up the hose ends with boiling water or a heat gun and they will slide right on.

    Bansh-eman,

thanks for the tip. once i heated up the ends them hoses went on super easy. i didn't dye mine. maybe i will next time. that bike is looking sweet.

  8. Narrow track is better for drag racing and a blaster is much narrower than a Banshee. I just don't want to pay for a"banshee" price for a blaster sized part. An axle is an axle.

If it comes down to tempering or strength i can heat treat and temper it myself to anywhere from 32 RC to 60 RC.

i understand why you are wanting to do it. i'm just saying that you wouldn't get much difference in the a-arms. at most i think you would get about half an inch on each side. hardly worth the effort. i was not meaning to demean your abilities.
