when i start up my banshee it starts to rev real high i tried changing the spark plugs and i am going to clean the air filter. post back thanks

i just bought this banshee and when i took it riding the rear shock wasn't good enough and i was banging up my exhuast. i was wondering if i could put a yfz450 or a trx450 shock on the banshee and if it would be any better. post back thanks
